It is estimated that 80% of pets exhibit the beginning stages of periodontal disease by age 3, which is why dental exams and teeth cleanings are essential. Also, studies indicate that pets with good oral hygiene tend to live 2 to 4 years longer than pets who neglect dental care. While periodontal disease is entirely preventable, when left untreated it can lead to cardiac disease, kidney infection, liver infection, or stroke.

This place is a scam. They seemed to really care at 1st but they just want your money. I had to put my baby down on the 4th of August. They told me I could pick her up in 2 weeks. I’ve been calling and no one answers the phone. I’ve left messages, nothing. I just visited the building and it’s “shut down”. If you are the owner or work here, please contact me before I get the police involved. You also over charged me and have yet to refund that as well.

When I first brought my beloved cat here when he got super sick, they handled the whole situation with nothing but love. These people, including all the workers not only care for your pets but treat them as if they were their own. Thats what I love about this place. All the receptionist are great to speak to and they make sure your needs are met. Again every single employee that works here are great human beings that make sure every single clients needs are met.

My family and I have been taking our pets here for years. The staff is always so pleasant in person and on the phone and they really go the extra mile for your pets. Over the years we've had a plethora of problems arise with our animals. Each time they did their level best to identify and take care of them with compassion and kindness, both to us and our 4 legged family.
I don't want to say I look forward to taking them back to the vet. But I know that when I have to, my pets will be in the best hands possible.

The first time I came here the vet and the staff were able to answer all the questions I had. My brother's friend was the one who recommend this hospital to us. There very caring plus you can see how much they really care for your pets. I like how they send an automatic reminder to your email or by text message like when your pet is due for their shots. I do recommend this place to anyone who will want their pets to be treated like family.

I am so so very grateful for Dr. Alia. I called when my guinea pig was showing very bad symptoms, and there was not a doc on staff that day who could see him. She called several other veterinarians and was able to get me an appointment with another doc that day. If it wasn't for her (and the vet she referred), I am almost sure my guinea pig would have died. He made an amazing recovery in one week -- I call him my miracle pig. Last year I had a similar experience with my other guinea pig. This office has cared for both of my pigs and I am very grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you <3

The staff at this hospital are so nice and very professional.
They really take the time out to do all they can for your pet. And at a very reasonable price. I brought my cat Rain in to have a couple of teeth extracted. We all had a very calming, confident experience.

Totowa Animal Hospital was recommended to me...I just adopted a little kitten, in which I have named: Charlie Quarantino. I must say, because of COVID, I was unable to go in with him, so I was a little edgy ....however, the staff is super nice and helpful...this gave me confidence to trust my Charlie in their care. Charlie Q is now 6 months and has been in their care. I recommend Totowa Animal Hospital, great staff. Thank you for taking care of my Charlie Q.

Excellent excellent excellent. Have been taking my Australian Cattle Dog since she was two months and I am completely happy with the decision. They realized her diagnoses before I even thought she had any issues. They are compassionate and thorough. Reasonable prices compared to other places. Alia is truly the best. Everything she said would happen with my pup when we spayed her was how it happened (pictures day of spay). Now she is back to her regular hyper self! 😁

I love Doc and Alia. Doc has been my vet for more than 25 years. He treats my beloved pets with fantastic care, love and attention. He and Alia have gone above and beyond for my babies more than once. I haved had some animals that have had very tricky issues that needed speciality care. Doc worked with us to try to save our boxers leg. But… helped us to make the right decision to amputate. He helped us through the process and Mickey did great aferwards.
