Looking for the right engagement ring became quite a stressful time for me and my then-fiancé. The big box stores didn't have the designs that we were looking for. It also felt like they would quickly categorize us once we told them our budget. I’m no expert to Diamonds. But after my first diamond purchase I was highly educated by the staff at DbD! They help me chose the right diamond for an engagement ring at my budget. They dint try up sale me and understood my needs. Carla was great with following up on the whole process. Never by at a mall they are over priced. Took two diamond tennis bracelets here to get sized a year ago. Should've written this review earlier. They charged me $300+ to size the bracelets and unfortunately one of my bracelets has been ruined ever since. I got home and took the bracelets out of the bag and saw one had diamonds missing. I notified them and they were able to replace the diamonds but this has happened repeatedly ever since. I've had to take it back in to get them replaced 3+ times and now I'm just tired of having to drive across town constantly to get it repaired. The diamonds always fall out shortly after

Dickinson by Design has designed multiple pieces of jewelry for my wife including her wedding band. The prices are clear and reasonable. John Dickinson and his entire staff are top notch, patient, respectful, and so friendly. When designing the wedding band, John made time to get to know my wife and I, which in my experience is unique. Multiple renderings of the ring options were provided and the final product was perfect. I've referred multiple people to Dickinson by Design, and everyone has the same awesome experience.

I was in Tiffany & Co. in the Galleria purchasing a beautiful Art Deco style ring when I fell in love with a Tiffany & Co. engagement ring. The sales lady suggested that since I loved the setting so much that I should have an independent jeweler reset my existing ring and she recommended Dickinson By Design. My fiancé designed and got my ring from DBD. It is absolutely stunning!! I get compliments on my ring all the time and I have noticed that it is constantly catching people's eyes when I am having conversations with them. Also important to note that my ring appraised well above what my fiancé spent on the ring. I have been back with my fiancé to have my wedding band and his wedding band done by DBD. Amazing, I had them do a custom designed engagement for me, it turned out perfect, even had to special order stones to get the look right.
As far as the work goes it was perfect.

My fiance proposed at the beginning of May. I absolutely love my ring. I like gold so he got a yellow gold band with a white gold head. Absolutely beautiful cushion cut diamond ring!! I have gotten so many compliments already. I was in Tiffany's purchasing a gift and one of there sales people asked for his information since she loved my ring and wanted to pass his info to her boyfriend.
My ring was a little too big at first and I took it to be resized the Monday after he proposed since I was headed out of town for a business trip. They were able to resize it within a couple of hours. Wonderful
