Services
The Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home was established in 1974 by Philip and Gerry Brendese in the historic community of Waterford, New York. Always located at the Broad Street address Phil and Gerry have both lived and worked at the home raising their four children there. Over the years the couple has renovated the 1890's Victorian many times making it the more spacious facility that it is today.
Our family serving yours since 1974. Please know that Phil, Gerry and Nick Brendese are here to help you whenever the time should come. A native of Waterford and Lansingburgh, Phil graduated from LaSalle Institute in 1965. He received his BA from Siena College and his degree in Mortuary Science from McAllister Institute in New York City.
We have made every effort to make our facility comfortable, while providing families a respectful, especially dignified place in which to commemorate the life of a loved one. The most wonderful kind loving family to deal with at such a hard time in life. Phil, Gerry and Nick were there for us at time of my mother's death, and the care was above and beyond. Their compassion and knowledge was top notch. I will always use the Brendese funeral services for every family member or friend I know in need.
