In 1963, Warren J. Fitzgerald, Sr. proudly established the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, right in his hometown of Cohoes. A life long resident of Cohoes, Warren graduated from the former Keveny Memorial Academy and Simmons Mortuary School of Science in 1960. Warren was a caring and compassionate individual who was very generous to his communities and charitable organizations.

The staff, especially Nick were incredible when my mom passed away unexpectedly. They were kind and empathetic. They were patient with me and always answered my questions. The service was beautiful and at a time when all was falling apart, they stood strong to help my family and I. I am very grateful for all their help and guidance.
