Services
Established in 2000, Bloom Early Learning & Child Care is an accredited, award-winning, non-profit early learning center with a special mission to make the highest quality childcare, programs and curriculum (and fun!) accessible to the entire community. Most parents must rely on childcare on a daily basis.
When Congress passed the welfare-to-work legislation in the late nineties, many families struggled to find employment as well as affordable, quality childcare programs for their children. Pastor Rollie Robinson challenged the congregation of Messiah United Methodist Church in Plymouth, Minnesota, to address this need.
Bloom passionately strives to break the cycle of poverty at the start through nurturing care and an exceptional early learning program. We prepare young children for success in school and enable their parents to pursue educational and employment opportunities. Applying proven best practices in early childhood development and kindergarten readiness are the keys to exceptional outcomes for children.
We're glad you're a part of the Bloom family! For your convenience, we will be providing a few timely Bloom reference materials that you might want to access online. Please use the following links to find what you need.

Please feel free to contact our Dunkirk Lane N & Rockford Road Center Director, Kati Halliday, at 763-559-0045 or kati.halliday@bloomearlylearning.org with any questions, concerns or requests for additions to our online parent page.
Bloom's goal is to reserve half of our capacity for single parents and low-income families who otherwise could not afford quality early childhood learning programs. Our Shirley Robinson Scholarship Fund was established to provide tuition assistance to community families in need. Since opening in 2000, Bloom has provided care for 972 children, 426 of whom received tuition assistance.

Our kids love their teachers as they are very caring and provide excellent t mentoring. There is no turnover in staff which was key to me. Overall, our kids are bringing home projects every week and enjoying making new friends while learning in a great environment.

My son has been here for nearly 3 years. The teachers and assistants are excellent at their jobs and truly care for the children. The principal, Mary Olsen, is very approachable, encouraging and professional. The children are treated with great care and love.
