Almost like riding the rails! Stepping into our cheery yellow train car feels like starting a mini adventure - even if the scenery outside the window doesn't change. The Arthur tiny house is named for Pam's Grandfather who had a passion for trains.
Clean lines and a great mix of rustic train accents, like toy models, maps and railroad memorabilia, combine perfectly with a chipper color palette and warm wood interior to give the space a sunny relaxed vibe.Sleeps 2 adults with an option for 2 adults or 2 children to use the double-sized couch bed on the main floor.

A small Koi pond by the front door creates an ideal first impression for this bamboo-filled den of Zen. The dark stained exterior emulates the Japanese style of charred wood called shou-sugi-ban or yakisugi-ita. Inside, walls are covered in grass cloth and Japanese accents abound, including a mix of traditional tea pots, statuary, imperial dragons and a custom Shoji-screen door.
Our little red Barn tiny house offers all the fun of a farmhouse stay, but with none of the dirty work. A custom-built Dutch barn door welcomes you into the open front living area which is paneled with reclaimed 100 yr old barn wood wainscoting. With denim and warm wood accents, and the Americana color scheme, this tiny house is loaded with down-home charm.
Cape Cod in Portland! The Beach tiny house conjures the soothing setting of an ocean shore getaway from the minute you walk past its patio with twin Adirondack chairs. On the exterior, we used classic grey shake shingles and white trim and a large awning over the deck protects the front entry from weather.
Native Port Orford cedar log siding and real antlers above the door set the tone for our ultimate mini-log-home experience. The interior features bright blue decor, as well as tongue-and-groove cedar walls, acacia flooring, a hickory cabinet, and a blue pine accent wall that separates the bathroom from the kitchen.

My sister and I stopped here for a night on our roadtrip up north, and absolutely loved it! Clean, comfortable and very functional for a small space. I loved the bathroom! We chose the tiny home that was dog friendly, and it was a great match. A ton of restaurants in walking distance. We loved the german one right around the corner! I would highly recommend a stay here again

I've been a lover of tiny homes for years, so when I found out that there was a hotel of tiny homes in Portland, I knew my sister and I would have to stay in one during our first visit to the city. Booking was extremely easy and I actually reached out to Pam directly regarding accessibility. Although they don't have an ADA-compliant home (YET!), Pam and Bruce were incredibly accommodating and offered several tweaks to make sure my stay was both fun and safe.
Speaking of Pam and Bruce, you won't meet two kinder people. They offered recommendations for sights, were happy to answer all of our questions

My boyfriend and I booked the zen house last minute on our way into Portland, having no idea what to expect. All of the tiny houses are themed and so adorable. We made friends around the fire pit so we got to see into some of the other houses.
Friendly atmosphere, friendly owners, and just a 5 minute walk to some great restaurants. I would absolutely Recommend.

I want to start by saying thank you to Pam and Bruce for such a wonderful experience. My wife and I along with another couple decided to take a trip to the west coast for the first time. I was presented with the option of staying at Tiny Digs and thought what a unique experience that would be. We were not disappointed. My wife and I stayed in the Beach house and loved every moment of it. Pam and Bruce were gracious host and just absolute fantastic people. Pam and Bruce, let me know if you drive through Knoxville, TN. Thank you two!

Very comfortable bed, and an air conditioning unit that kept it cool despite my being there during the record-breaking Heat of June. Keep in mind that this is truly tiny, and a large person would not be comfortable. I am 5'5" and on the smaller side and even I bumped my head a little bit in the Loft! But I would definitely stay there again, I loved it. And the folks who run it are very responsive and friendly.

What an absolutely lovely stay, thanks to Pam! One of the super friendly owners… who we got to meet on the premise! The house itself that I stayed in (the cottage) was absolutely charming! It transports you to an elegant Victorian era, complete with comfy amenities and modern conveniences. Pam was even good enough (and tolerant enough, haha) to help a good, rather eccentric friend of mine who came to visit me at the hotel and ended up getting another one of the houses for himself too! She showed us the insides of each available house, and not were they creative and amazing! The atmosphere and

Warm, cozy, unique, and totally delightful. The owners were kind and attentive, and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. If you’ve ever been fascinated by the tiny house phenomenon, here is an ideal opportunity to get up close and personal with one. The variety of styles and designs reflect the owners’ personal creativity. A delightful alternative way to overnight in Portland! Great restaurants around the corner, and everything the big generic impersonal hotels are NOT!
