This company is a scam. They advertise on Zillow and they are the worst. I never moved in the property because of false advertisement. They advertise the property has washer and dryer but they don't. Also, the bathroom was disgusting. Bathtub was rusted and toilet didn't work. When I asked the representative/agent Diamela Atención-Ray to explain and to get the bathroom fixed before move in she told me I need to take the house as is, they won't fix it and with regards to the washer and dryer she said non of their properties have them even thought they advertise they do. After applying weeks ago to rent a house and never getting a decision, I tried calling, emailing, leaving multiple voicemails to someone named Diamela to check the status. I never got a call or email back, so finally applied to rent elsewhere and immediately was approved. I filed a dispute for the application fee with my bank and the next day Renu started to process my app. Too late.
I'm a homeowner and will need a property manager for my current house, but now I know better than to consider using them for any service.

I toured a property several months ago that I was very interested in and emailed stating I wanted to apply and had a few questions about the process and also asked if they would be addressing some of the maintenance issues that I noticed when touring the home, such as missing showerhead, unsecure patio door (could push open from outside), etc. Ashley Smith responded that the door wasn't an issue for the previous tenant and the owner just spent $13K in renovations and completely dodged my questions and concerns. They are complete time wasters. Asking for 5x for an, (1825 or 1845 rental home for 2 people who have jobs and work really hard but cant get a place because it has to have a total income of just under or over 10,000 dollars), the rent for coapplicants is very absurd. Especially when you have 2 kids to provide for. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY FLAT OUT REFUSE TO HELP ANYONE WHO WORKS HARD FOR A LIVING.

RENTERS BEWARE!!! Renu property management will collect several applications on ONE property and will continue to advertise the property for rent. We applied for a property paid $45 each in application fees and never received a correspondence regarding the status of our application.A week after we applied I finally called RENU property and spoke with the property manager. She stated they were still showing the property and had not started processing applications. We've been waiting 3 months to get an electrical issue repaired. The only time there's any progress is when I call and push for it. In the meantime we're going without basic appliances while they drag their feet looking for a cheaper contractor. Now we have a separate issue with flooding from leaking plumbing, and it's been almost 3 weeks and still no sign of progress on that being fixed either. In our lease it has a whole list of tenant responsibilities that goes into so much detail - things like "shower curtain must be tucked into bathtub during use" and "dishwasher

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. These people are a scam. If you take the time to read they’re replies you can tell that they do not take accountability what so ever. I’ve called them numerous times and left plenty of voicemails with my number so they can call me back but no call backs what so ever. I also paid $45 for the application, I should have been contacted no matter what. If a company is getting a lot of applications and calls in, to where they CAN NOT get back to you in a acceptable amount of time, that means the owner needs to do THEIR JOB and hire more employees so that way

I tried to ignore the reviews about this company and give them the benefit of the doubt when they said they didn’t respond even after you applied, but it is completely true. Don’t waste your time applying to rent a house they manage, they will take your application fee (ours was x3 since 3 of us applied so now we’re out $135) and do nothing with it. We applied day of after viewing a house we loved and got no update. So after 4 days I sent an email, waited till Monday, no update. Called and went through the prompts to get a representative, straight to voicemail with no call back. Sent another

Found a house listed by them and did a self-tour. LOVED that. Applied for the house, was charged the application fee and have yet to hear anything further more than a week later. I've tried calling and going through automated response after automated response trying to find a human, and emailed the company and the listed president of the company. Still no response whatsoever.

I have been working with Ashley Smith for over a year now. She has been such a breath of fresh air compared to the other property managers that I have worked with. She has wonderful communication and I worry about her because she is so communicative. I am the owner of rental property and she has saved me money countless times and is very confident regarding the rules and regulations of her business. Ashley did an excellent job of renting out our properties in Nashville area. She was very prompt in responding to my inquiries and a great job of leasing out 2 of our properties in a matter of one week. She has great attention to detail and knows very well the minor tweaks that needs to be done to make the property appeal to a potential tenant. She provided us very reasonable estimates for the work that's required to get the properties rental ready and got it done on time. Very happy with the work so far. Certainly recommended !!

Our appartment was taken over by Renu mid way during our lease around fall 2016. We had minimal repairs but whenever we had concerns, the response time was 3-4 usiness days. And I never felt comfortable with the response. It was always, like, do you need a repair guy. And it may cost you . So, I rather fix it myself. When I was relocating from out of state, I didn't have much time to do so. I went online and found RENU and I was immediately contacted by Ashley Smith. Ashley was incredible to work with. She understood my sense urgency and took time to listen to exactly what I was looking for.
