There not enough words to express our gratitude and respect for everyone at Schrader's. Being 50+ year residents of Manchester, my parents expressed years ago that they wanted Schrader to take care of their final arrangements, fast forward to June of 2018 and after putting my father in a skilled nursing facility earlier than expected, circumstances required us to pre-arrange and pay for his funeral. The intricacies of what was required by the state of MO for his situation we're specific and JR (now retired) handled it with ease and respect. He walked my mom and me through it and made

My family would like to Thank Schrader's for being very professional and detailed during our time of need. We would like to give a special shout out to Bryan Benson. He was professional, compassionate and very accommodating. He took his time in really listening to what we wanted to guide us in the right direction, since under the circumstances, we weren't always sure what we wanted. He was so personable, that by the end of our session, he became "cousin Bryan". We had so many compliments from our guests. The overall experience was a 10+ for sure. Thank you again. Love the

I would not recommend Schrader during the pandemic if you are hoping to make any aspect of the service virtual so that more people can participate. We recently had a loss in the family and our family had to do all of the legwork including hiring and coordinating with a videographer in order to live stream the funeral service and do a virtual visitation. It was salt in an already gaping wound for our family to have to deal with these additional hassles.
At two months into the pandemic, we were very surprised about their lack of adapting to the present situation to better serve their customers

Not the call I thought I would ever have to
make. We were taken care of from start to finish. Cared for my mom but never pressure to purchase anything we did not ask for. Bill(can not remember his last name ex Marine and police) was so gracious to my dad. Bill truly make some of our most horrible days bearable. Thank you to the cremation service man(can not remember his name). He was also professional and courteous to my dad. If I ever need this help again I would return to Schrader and ask for Bill.

This was the most unprofessional funeral home I have ever been to. Most of us could not even see the funeral becuase there was no room and they didnt even have chairs in rows for people to sit on. Most of us had to stand, we could not see the funeral or who was speaking. Even the pall bearers were shunned to the outer area where they could not see. No funeral tags were given, thre was no line or any cohesiveness whatsoever. half of us were left at the funeral home BEHIND the policeman who was supposed to be at the end of the procession, which means we all got cut off and were lost bev=cause we

One hopes one does not need the services of a funeral home. However if one does, it is critical to have one like Schrader and someone like BillW to help one through the process. Ours was a complicated situation and Bill made all the arrangements to transfer my friend back to India. He cut through red tape and completed the tasks within two days when everyone told us two weeks is the minimum timeframe. Bill even called in a favor from the "highest office in the land" to ensure no delays. Great partner to have at a time of crisis - and this speaks volumes for the organization that they

I know, I know, who wants to think about funeral homes when you're Yelping it up? Not me, friends, not me. But this place is kickass, for serious. They really do provide caring and respectful service, and their prices are really reasonable considering they're in West County and have a more modern look and feel than a lot of the small-town places I was used to.
