I like this office in terms of how my pets are cared for, but wish the women with the most contact with the public- front desk, intake, etc- would wear their damned masks correctly. If it's under your chin or nose, it's useless. With cases and deaths rising, it makes me nervous to go. I can't take care of my animals if I get covid from the place I take them to get care.

Very rude woman answering phones. She wouldn’t let me finish talking before cutting me off and telling me they couldn’t get me in for an emergency. Then when I asked if she could recommend another place, she made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her and told me I’ll have to find something myself because she doesn’t have schedules of other places. I just wanted the name of another place I could call. I understand that it can get busy, but cutting people off while they’re talking and making someone who is frantically searching for a vet in an emergency situation feel like they’re inconveniencing

Awful experience this past year with the women answering the phones. First I called about my 4 year old dog not being able to walk, and they said they couldn’t fit him in. I had been going there for 4 years at that point so I went to Avets. 2 weeks later I called again about my dog turning jaundice after his Lymes diagnosis and her answer was “is he still moving around”…he died 8 hours later at Avets. The women in the front think they are vets and they are far from knowledgeable. Will never be returning and would not recommend strictly based upon the people answering the phones.
