Delmont Veterinary Hospital has been serving the needs of the companion animals of Western Pennsylvania for 38 years. Our caring, professional, highly qualified veterinarians provide the experienced care that your dog or cat deserves. Our doctors provide comprehensive companion animal care services from preventative care (such as vaccinations and parasite preventatives) to advanced medical therapies, and surgery.
Having just helped my 17 year old dog find her rest, it is hard right now to put into words how much I think of Dr. Elizabeth Harr and her staff here at Delmont Vet. I knew when I met Dr. Harr she was the right choice for my Lady and I. She was always kind, knowledgeable and so sweet to her. I trusted her opinion implicitly.
The veterinarians of the Delmont Veterinary Hospital truly care about your companion animal's well being. We know that you have a busy schedule. We offer office hours from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to best serve your needs. On Tuesdays and Fridays we offer office hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

If I could give zero stars, I would!
Our dog was only 6 years old and wasn’t feeling good. My husband took him to be seen by his vet, this vet at Delmont Veterinary Hospital! They gave him some medicine, took some tests and sent him home. Still didn’t feel good so took back and asked if a dog could have a bladder infection as I think he is bleeding in his urine?! The vet ran with that and gave him some fluids and a shot of antibiotics. Vet said he should be better in a couple of hours. If not better by 5pm call them back. By 3pm still not eating so we couldn’t give him his medicine, husband

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Our dog was attacked by another dog and they refused to see her at all. Our dog was literally bleeding in our arms and they had the nerve to ask “Well is she a patient?”
Understand they aren’t an emergency room but they clearly don’t care about pets. Highly recommend taking your pet anywhere else.

I am a representative for the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation and have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Harr and the staff with a few of our rescue dogs. They have been exceptionally kind and caring with our rescue dogs! The level of service and compassion is nothing short of outstanding. The dogs in our care are often in great need of vet care, and I know they will always be treated with love and patience at Delmont Vet Hospital. I highly recommend them.

I have had vet care in many states and Delmont has the best vet care I ever experienced. They treat every pet like it was their own pet. I like the fact if they do not have an answer they do research to get it and never give up. They make you feel part of the family from each vet to the techs to the office staff. I would go no where else. Thank you Delmont. Dr. Harr you should be proud of your whole clinic. They are a team that is the BEST!

Delmont is where we take our pets for care. All of the veterinarians care about their patients and families. The staff are also very kind and helpful. Our cat recently needed an emergency surgery and Dr. O squeezed us in so that we could avoid the exorbitant emergency vet costs, not to mention that we have a trust and ease with Delmont. Their pricing and services are all fair and affordable. We highly recommend Delmont!!

Bad experience with this vet. My dog was only 5 years old and wasn’t feeling good. My brother-in-laws daughter took him to be seen. They gave him a shot and sent him home. Still didn’t feel good so took him to the Emergency Veterinary in Washington, Pa. Long story short my dog didn’t make it. My sister took her dog here and they sent her to… have unnecessary costly tests done and everything came back negative. Took her to another vet and found out she is in congestive heart failure. I wouldn’t take another animal here. They are the worst vets I have ever dealt with

November 8th after hours I came in with my precious baby 11 years bichon who was so badly injured in a stray dog attack.The women in the office and one in particular helped us beyond the call of duty. My simple words can’t express the gratitude love I feel!Thank you from bottom of my heart 💜 I had to make the dreaded decision of letting my Robi go.Nothing can fix my heart .Although knowing there is women like you taken care of us in such a crisis helps heal. We take our 21 year cat Beau Beau there & he sees Dr. Moravick.. she is the “animal whisperer” of all animals. Our cat has a infected tooth and at 21 yrs. old, surgery is not an option. This woman has worked with Beau Beau for years now & always fixing our “kitty”. Took him there last night for his fluid therapy & tooth, well tooth was not healing… up & our choices were to put him down or try the medicine, so far so good with his meds. We know we are on borrowed time with Beau Beau because of his age but these ppl are just great over there, also want

Delmont Veterinary Hospital has been so good to us! Now twice near closing time they have allowed us to rush our dogs in. Once one of our dogs even needed immediate surgery and the staff stayed late to make it happen. I have been so impressed with our dogs' care and the compassion the staff shows for our pets!
