Our special trial period offers six classes for $59.99, and also includes a FREE official SKY uniform! We welcome all ages and levels, and encourage those with prior experience to continue where they left off!
Children can start participating in classes as early as 4 years old. We encourage starting Martial Arts at an early age in order to build a solid foundation for more advanced techniques. However, it's also never too late to start! Martial Arts can be a lifelong activity for many people, and a way to not only stay physically healthy, but mentally sharp as well.

My daughter is enrolled in Tae Kwon Do here and so far it has been amazing. They teach with consistency, respect, and are EXCELLENT with kids. My daughter seems excited and engaged throughout class. Their Covid practices are impressive as well. Everyone wears a mask, 6ft apart during class, get temperature checked, and I've seen them bring out a sanitizer sprayer to clean the gym after practice. Wonderful place!

My daughter is a student of Sky Martial Arts for over a year now.
The Staff is amazing here. All the trainers are very patient with little kids and extremely disciplined at the same time. They monitor every child' performance very closely. They try to make sure that the child is making overall progress in terms of studies and family values along with their Taekowondo skills by including it as a mandatory goal in order to achieve their next level belts. I am happy that I enrolled my little girl here.

We were searching for a traditional martial arts experience that would provide structure and discipline for our young boys. Grand Master Yoon, Master Andrew and Master Joseph continue to exceed our expectations, even through their online instruction during quarantine. The studio has always provided engaging lessons that focus on traditional Taekwondo curriculum and strives to find engaging activities to keep the learning focused and fun.
Students are challenged to become strong athletes and active participants in their success in the studio, at home and at school. I highly recommend Sky Martial

We first came to Sky in 2008 on a recommendation in search of an activity to help our older son build esteem, confidence, respect, and discipline. Since then, we have become part of the Sky family. Grandmaster Yoon, Master Andrew, Master Joe, and Master Justin are all great instructors and really care about the student. They work with each child to help them achieve their maximum potential. As a result, 2 of our boys have competed successfully in both sparring and poomsae over the years and have placed at the state, national, and international levels. They also put a strong emphasis on respect

Excellent teaching and dedicated and caring staff. I tried every martial arts class in town for my son and asked him to choose which one he liked. He picked Sky. He said that he liked Master Andrew because he was kind and brave like a true ninja.
I like this place because
- it is family owned - everyone has a stake in making it a successful place to be.
- Master Andrew is polite and flexible and replies to questions in 24 hours. This is key when you are managing schedules and constantly busy
- the classes are small and there are always multiple TAs and teachers to help
Most importantly, my son

Honored to have my son practice under the honorable Grandmaster Yoon and his son Master Yoon. My son has learned so much in such short amount of time, it's remarkable! Sky Martial Arts isn't just a Taekwondo studio to practice Taekwondo, Sky engages every student to push forward to succeed academically, physically, emotionally to ultimately have a strong mind and body!

Would highly recommend Sky Martial Arts. Our sons started attending Sky Martial Arts 2 years ago. They have learned so much while attending classes with Grandmaster Yoon and staff. Honor, discipline, focus and integrity are values learned. They are not afraid to perform in front of an audience and can perform under pressure. Sky focuses not just on how students are doing while in class but also want to make sure they are doing well at home and at school. I love the submission of the weekly reports. If Sky notices the boys aren't pulling their weight at home or at school they are good

Sky martial arts has been the most positive influence in my adult life. I am so grateful to Grandmaster Yoon and his family for helping me earn my black belt in Taekwondo. Through my journey at sky I have gained so much confidence, mental strength, and muscle mass! It is a great honor to receive an internationally recognized black belt from a world champion and 9th Dan Grandmaster. Sky has truly been my temple, and my second family!

As an active practitioner and former competitor, I have very high standards when it comes to learning and training in martial arts. I have even higher standards when it comes to having others train my own children. Sky Martial Arts has exceeded my expectations on all levels.
Grandmaster Yoon, Master Andrew and the instructors are great with their students and have done an amazing job in bridging the gap between traditional martial arts and sport Taekwondo. The elements of discipline, respect, honor, manners, spirit and work ethic is all very apparent in their teachings.

Exceptional Taekwondo and martial arts studio. Grandmaster Yoon is a world-renowned Taekwondo practitioner, coach and referee. California is lucky to have someone of this calibre, let alone the East Bay. Both of my two young boys love it there and learn so much. They not only learn Taekwondo from skilled and capable teachers (and thus their technique and ability is fantastic), but the school very much emphasizes a broader development of the character in the form of self-confidence, self-belief, respect, integrity and honor. The school is kind and caring and like an extended family but also promotes

Sky Martial is the best Taekwondo studio in the Bay Area hands down! In today's age of kids getting trophy for losing, every rank and belt is earned here at this studio. Both my kids have made it to black belt and will continue to earn their black belt degrees. We have tried many different studios but Sky is special. My kids know they have to have focus and dedication and the belt they wear is earned and not given. This is a huge life lesson.
There are many positives at Sky, too many to list. The most important thing is Sky is an extended family. The kids have a special bond with

Sky martial arts is a great studio to learn not only taekwondo but important life skills. Here instructors focus on respect for others, perseverance, and self-confidence. Grandmaster Yoon and master Andrew are heavily involved in the world taekwondo community, constantly attending seminars and tournaments to stay current on poomsae and sparring. Personally, Grandmaster Yoon has encouraged me to never give up on myself, while giving me life advice based on his own experiences. Sky martial arts is a place to learn taekwondo, and more importantly a place to become a better person and gain family.

Sky Martial Arts is a top notch school! I have been bringing my son here for the last few years and I've seen so much growth in his confidence, strength and attitude. The instructors including Grandmaster Yoon are all wonderful. They are so patient and kind with the kids. You have to earn your belts and achievements which is so important in your child's growth. My son feels so proud of himself when he earns a new belt because he knows the hard work paid off and that he actually earned it. They not only focus on the child in the studio but they require you fill out weekly report cards

Grandmaster Jun Yoon and their staff are some of the best you can find in California. While GM Yoon is one of the most decorated and accomplished Taekwondo master, he is also so graceful, gentle, and humble. His skills are top notch, but his character is what makes him a true grand master.
I am also a master in Taekwondo and operate my own school, but I always look to GM Yoon for advise and help, as he is so available, open, and loving. I feel very lucky to know him and have him closely as a mentor.
If you are able to learn from Master Yoon, you are very lucky!
