Sunlight Mountain extended their ski Season an additional weekend so we took advantage of three room nights at the Brettelberg. Our daughter enjoyed two lessons with the great staff at Sunlight, and the ability to watch her from our balcony deck was an awesome experience. Truly ski in and ski out. Friendly staff at a great location.

The idea of a ski in ski out resort is super nice. However, the customer service here is horrible and the people working are extremely rude. We had to leave early due to weather and before checking in we let the manager know this. He was extremely rude and expressed he did not care in a variety of ways. Definitely not how to keep people coming and using these condos for their skiing vacation. Definitely do not recommend staying here unless you want to be treated poorly. Even if the manager had been polite and kind it would have been enough rather than him being harsh and rude.

Most terrifying experience of my entire life. Literally a place where I imagine murders happen. DO NOT STAY HERE! Checked in after office hours to find our keys in an envelope labeled with my full name, room number and location of room, that was also already opened for anyone to grab. We were already very concerned but went to check out F8 and the lights wouldn’t turn on, and heard noises from inside the room, someone was definitely inside the room and we ran away terrified for our lives. This is the creepiest place I have ever seen and can not believe they can actually rent this Air BNB. If

The Brettelberg Condominiums are amazing for families looking to experience an off-the-path adventure. The condos are a little dated, so do not expect top-of-the-line luxury, but what they do not offer in splendor, they certainly made up for in character. The condos offer fantastic full kitchen facilities (including plenty of dishes) and it is perfectly tucked on top of the most picturesque mountains in all of CO. They offer a wonderful hot-tub, which we enjoyed each evening as we watched the sun set behind the mountains, a cute rec room complete with a pool table, a plethora of books & comfy couches

We booked for two nights, and prior to our arrival noticed that er had been double charged. After contacting them they said they processed the credit, but several days went by and nothing. We went to the office to check in, and they again said they had processed the credit. Nothing. We have had to protest the charge on our card, and give proof of the dates of our stay. We have never gotten a credit from the Brettelberg.
Additionally, the place is falling apart. Pieces of the railing were missing. There was water collecting on the pathway/roof. There were tools lying around including an old paintbrush

Accommodations were pretty basic. Beds not very comfortable... however I can't say enough about the great location (strap on ski/board and head down to the lift in 30 seconds), and the helpful and accommodating staff, Chris and Kodie were easy to deal with and very helpful during our stay. Rooms had everything we needed from TV to pots and pans... very happy with it all! We were disappointment the hot tub was not working though..

Hmm, where to begin? So the ski hill was great--wonderful for families, beginners, and staffed by super friendly people. But the Brettelberg ... we stayed in C9, which according to the staff was the best unit. It was updated on the interior and the decor was nice, but the outside is falling apart. There were a lot of issues: the unit lacked so many things-there were not enough towels, the toilet paper was like tissue paper, the sheets were so thin that you could see every stain through them.
The unit has no games, no books, no aluminum foil, no dvds, I could go on and on, but won't.

After staying in B1, I will never stay here again. The ceilings are paper thin and you can hear them anytime someone moves. It's impossible to get a good nights rest unless the condo above you is vacant. The condo was decently nice and it's right on the mountain but be very cautious about whether or not someone is going to stay above you.

Avoid staying here unless you can stay in one of the nicer units (ask the helpful managers which ones they are). We stayed in B5, and it was dirty (blood on pillowcase and mattress, and the dishes were dirty as were the walls) and extremely outdated. For the price (169 plus an extra 10 per night for each guest over 4 guests), I expect much nicer. Also, the parking situation was terrible. There is one way in, you have to either back in or back out, and numerous cars kept getting stuck in the deep, soft snow alongside the parking area.

We tagged along with a group that was staying here and skiing sunlight. I have two little boys that are learning so Sunlight resort was perfect for them. Small, affordable and friendly. However our accommodations were disappointing. We paid $169 a night which I didn't think was "cheap" but it is ski in ski out. We got a look at rooms B3, B6, and B7. All the rooms were pretty bad. B7 was recently renovated, but still looks pretty old. At night the pipes for the radiant heat system makes tons of noise. The beds were uncomfortable and dirty. The whole design of this

We stayed at Brettleberg Christmas weekend with some of our family. The skiing was great - fantastic and the staff at the mountain resort were awesome. We had great experiences with the ski school and just the staff in general. That being said... The condos left a lot to be desired. It definitely shows its age. We were in B6 and the pipes in the ceiling and walls- I think they were water pipes- would rattle and tap whenever anyone upstairs would use the water. It was so loud and kept us awake. The bunk beds were dirty and the mattresses on the bunks were paper thin. The dishes in the cabinets looked

So, always lead with a positive, right? The place is charming and secluded, especially in the summer when we stayed, early August to be exact. Great surroundings and pleasant drive to the property. Decent value, especially compared to the jacked up rates in Glenwood that weekend due to Ragnar and the Crossfit competition I was there for but on the high end for what we expected. We stayed in a room that sleeps 7 with a lift that my daughter loved. Hot tub was steps away and pretty cool. The place is aging and it shows. On the disappointing side, all of the pullout sleepers in our unit had
