Services
Founded in 2001 as a sister school to Wee Lad & Lassie, with a focus on the very young learner, A Child's Garden is located in the heart of beautiful Severna Park. Our programs include a toddler program for 18 month olds and young 2-year-olds, an older 2-year-old program for ages 30 months and up, and a 3-year-old program.
We offer morning Preschool 9:00-12:00 as well as childcare from 7:00-6:00. We do offer flexible schedules ranging from two days a week (Tuesday-Thursday), three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and five days a week (Monday-Friday). I have two children at A Child's Garden. My oldest daughter has been attending the school for over two years and I could not wait until my youngest was able to go. The teachers are amazing, energetic, and creative. I can't even begin to describe how kind, compassionate, and nurturing they are.

I can’t say anything about the school unfortunately...because I never got to see it. I scheduled a tour to come visit the school for my toddler. I was told we could only come at 7:15am. My husband took off work and I woke my toddler and baby up early to get there. Once we arrived no one was there. We waited for 45 minutes and no one showed up! I called multiple times and left messages and never received a call back!!
How could I trust to send my child here when they can’t even show up or give me an apology call? I understand things happen, but I was hoping to receive an explanation. So sad

My daughter spent all three years at A Child's Garden and we are happily enrolling our second there as well. The teachers are wonderful and have always been very welcoming. The kids get a good bit of outdoor time compared to come of the other schools in the area which was important to us. They are willing to work with you on a flexible schedule which has been wonderful.

Each of my daughters has attended this school for three years, starting at 18 months (the 'young 2s') through to the 3-year-old class. I've been so pleased with the quality of care and early education that my girls have received. I've enjoyed interacting with all the teachers, assistants and staff. The team works hard to accommodate various schedules, which really helps with my part-time work schedule. The school was well-informed about food allergies, and the school's allergy-related practices helped me feel safe dropping her off after her allergy diagnosis. I highly recommend

My son has been here off and on for 3 years (due to family issues not the facility). My husband and I are amazed at how dedicated the teachers are. The staff has made us feel like a family. I didnt think I would find a place that actually made us feel like they cared about our child but we were just taken back at the support and concern of everyone for our child's progress. He started out non-verbal and this year he has blossomed into a social and happy little guy. Never once were we made to feel as if our son's delays were our fault. They also have a great relationship with the AA countys speech
