I approached Greg Flaherty, owner of Penny Realty, with questions about renting my apartment. He took the time to listen to my needs and visited the property. Penny Realty uses a wide range of resources to find the right tenant. Always friendly and professional. It was rented within the month!

I can't imagine working with a better property management company. We have worked with companies in the past that are sub par and working with Camryn and Penny Realty has been a breath of fresh air. We had a great stay at our rental! It was very clean and very well stocked! We really were surprised how well the kitchen was stocked (they even had coffee filters for the coffee maker...and the coffee maker was clean).
They were really responsive when we had a question. We definitely would be booking again!

For someone who was struggling to find a place to rent, Penny Reality went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. Veronica, who managed my rental, was very communicative the entire process and never left me out in the dark with anything. The whole process was quick and easy. The house was beautiful and the view is amazing. I loved waking up and making breakfast to the view of the ocean! The location is ideal, walking distance to either the beach or bay side. Yet the neighborhood is so quaint and quiet. The outdoor space is ideal and has nice furniture, where we spent a lot of time. We ate meals outside and used the grill and outdoor heater. Everything was very well appointed! We already talked of returning!

False statement by the company owner follow up. We had 3 illegal tenants in our very expensive 5 br house near the beach, with an illegal dog that also damaged the property. The tenants were served a 3 day notice to remove the 3 illegal tenants and illegal dog... refused to do so and then Penny Realty asked for us to allow them to keep the party house going with our furnished family house. Penny Realty refused to evict, with no Covid protection to the tenants that were all in their 20's.
There was over $10k in damage to our house, and they still haven't paid their utility bills

We really enjoyed this property! It was right next to the beach (cove) and across the street from the main beach (Mission Beach). It is within walking distance of the jet ski, boat, kayak, etc rentals. All kitchen appliances and tv worked. The wifi wasn't great, so we didn't stay connected to it. There is no real "front door" since the entrance is through the main bedroom or through the sliding door, but that wasn't an issue for us. We were able to check in after hours with their system so that was great! Checkout was easy. Really enjoyed and would recommend.

I rented one of their Ocean Beach, SD properties. My review of the house is below. Working with Penny Realty was a breeze! They were very responsive, answered all my questions, easy to work with, no issues or surprises.
