I had an amazing experience at Dr. Bainer's dental office yesterday. I came in for a consultation regarding a broken bridge. Dr. Bainer took time to explain procedures that he would recommend that will be best for me and in the long run in the future. From the consultation they took time to make me a beautiful temporary bridge that will help me while I wait to see a surgeon for implants. Dr. Bainer and his staff helped me in a time of need. I had a root canal from my dentist (not Dr. Bainer) last week and was suffering terribly. My dentist was out of town for the Christmas holiday break and Dr. Bainer came to the rescue by adjusting my bite and prescribing me a steroid to minimize my discomfort and inflammation. Staff and doctor are very friendly and honest. Doctor Bainer educated me about my teeth and showed me exactly what he was talking about so that I could make informed decisions about any further treatment I desired. They have the ability to do in house crowns and fillings, so no temporaries are required. All done same day, which is super important for me. If you're looking for the best dentist in San Diego, specifically Escondido area, look no further. I was TERRIFIED of the dentist to the point I put off going for more then 6 years. When I finally went a couple months ago I had a few appointments worth of work to be done and I lost sleep over the anxiety of it all after bad experiences with other dentists in the past. Dr. Bainer and his assistant John are a terrific team. Not only are they careful and gentle, they have a great camaraderie that puts me at ease. I've been having multiple appointments to remove old amalgam fillings and to redo old work as well as lots of new work. My new crowns are imperceptible and he has created root fillings for my receded gums.

I just had a crown done and it was very nice to get it all done in one appointment (instead of having to get a temporary tooth and go back to have the crown installed. He done good! I needed to have all old fillings replaced. And in the process he fixed a chopped tooth in the front cuz I told him he could. He went to town and fixed another chip on the bottom. Entire procedure took an hour and a half. When it was all over, all three of us had a sore back! LOL! It was worth it. He kept asking me how I was doing and said I was doing a great job. Didn't need any novocaine. Thank you Dr Bainer and Bailey.

I am so happy i found the Smile Gallery office after having my retainer break (from another dentist office in Temecula). It had not even been a year since getting that one when it broke (second one breaking from that Temecula orthodondist). I was told a replacement was available at a high cost (it is the clear plastic kind after Invisalign braces). So I called around and kept getting high cost quotes until I contacted the Smile Gallery. Thank goodness I found them. My new retainer was under $100

Great visit with Dr. Bainer and everyone at his Escondido office. Everyone was so nice and welcoming for my first visit. Dr. Bainer gave me a full "teeth tour" of my mouth with X-rays and photos explaining all my care and his recommendations. I have a fear of dentists as I feel like many over prescribe and are looking to make more money. Dr. Bainer was honest and recommended just what I needed. Dr. Bainer is super friendly and his staff is equally lovely. I've been coming here for years - even when it was owned/operated by a different dentist. The facility is pristine - even the grass is mowed in perfect lines and the flowers are blooming and nicely manicured.
The real rubber meets the road with the great dental work that Dr. Bainer and his team provide. I have had fillings, a root canal, bridge work, and my husband has had a ton of work done. We are both very happy with our experience so much so that we have recommended friends and colleagues to this place.

Wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Bainer took the time to explain my treatment so I could understand exactly what I needed. The hygienist Mallory is so lovely, and amazing at what she does. It was the most comfortable cleaning I've ever had! And the two assistants, Bailey & Tammy are very funny and helped me relax during treatment. Reneé checked me out and was so helpful with explaining my payments, it was so easy!

My husband is a disabled Veteran the VA actually gave us a good reference to THE Smile Gallery!!! So happy we chose them! DDS David J. Bainer makes it so easy to love going to the dentist. Dr. Bainer is so kind hearted and friendly! He also has a really friendly assistant named Bailey who's a sweetheart. Garrett normally hates going to the dentist that's why we're so happy with TSG! Garrett was actually excited to show up and have the work done!
