I am Puerto Rican and was looking for a restaurant because every now and then I don't want to cook. I got bacalaitos...which were so greasy, thick and spongy (rubbery). Bacalaitos are supposed to be crispy, flaky, crunchy...these were so bad. The pork chops were were also rubbery and over done. Rice was crunchy, though! The beans tasted more like cilantro/culantro than anything else. Tostones were also rubbery. It's like the food was microwaved and not freshly done and it wasn't good. The flan dessert was grainy and looked "spoiled" so we just tossed it. $50 worth of food was thrown out Not going

I am a regular to this restaurant. Today I had the chuleta can-can. Let me tell you. The best one I have had here in the states. Juicy, Tender and full of flavor. Just seasoned perfectly. I have not had a bad meal yet. We also ordered the pollo guisado and mollejas. There is a reason I always come back to this place. Hands down the best in South Florida.

El arroz con gandules was perfect and tasty!! I had to order the rice for more than 30 people for a family dinner. I run out late and still their customer service was a 10 out of 10. The rice was hot, even though I was late and the best of this is all the family enjoy it and love the taste of the rice. Definitely I will order in a few months for my baby's birthday.

You ever go to a restaurant and have an amazing experience, then go back again and itโ€™s just dreadful.
Ordering from here is a hit or miss, sometimes itโ€™s spot on and delicious. Others... not so much. Today I got 6 shriveled up over-fried pieces of pork, bland rice, and my papa rellena had a sour taste to it and completely fell apart when I picked it up. Complete waste of my lunch break and money! Such a shame.
