Pros: location, clean rooms, personable manager. Cons: noise. If someone's rooming above you, believe me EVERY footstep will resonate, not to mention trash Mondays, which the management has no control over but will jolt you awake at dawn and ruin your morning nonetheless.
That being said, RJ the manager (never on site but very responsive via text) was truly sympathetic to this and surprised us with a full refund for the inconvenience, which was above and beyond. As long as you're not sensitive to sound, the Haber Motel offers quaint, apartment-esque lodging in the thick of the action with management

My husband and I loved our stay here! The owner, RJ, was very friendly and helpful! Very comfortable and clean room. It was a lot more spacious than we thought! It’s in a great location right near the downtown strip but set back a bit to give enough privacy! We will definitely stay here again if we come through the area!

Stayed at this hidden gem of a property Sept 2 & 3 2019. RJ was the perfect host offering what he could to make our stay one for us to remember. There are 6 rooms and ours was spacious and comfortable. It's in an area right at the beginning of the main road going thru Estes Park. Most everything is in walking distance. Recommend highly. We encountered one item of interest and when RJ reads this, I trust this will be fixed in no time. Our hot water for the shower had issues. Turn it on and would be hot then no more hot water. Wait a few minutes and it would be hot or not. Thank

Really enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, nice towels. Walking distance to just about everything Estes Park has to offer. Gas fireplace was in room 3, sweeeet. I believe its family owned, guy gave us his cell # and encouraged us to call 24/7 with anything, he lived 2 blocks away. Will make a point to return.

Small, cute and humble little motel. the rooms are nice enough for my non-picky self, but if you don't like the rooms you gotta at least love the location! it's right in the heart of the city next to the excellent breakfast restaurant The Egg and I, 24-hour u.s. Bank ATM, The Stanley Hotel, and all sorts of other awesome local shops and restaurants!

Perfect little hotel with all you need for a romantic getaway. It is family owned and operated, and we couldn't be more pleased by all of our interactions with them as well as the quality of the rooms. We loved it so much after the first night we booked one more. It's right in town, so you can walk to all the festivities, bars, and restaurants. If you want a romantic stay for two in Estes Park, this is your place.

This place has a lot going for it. Location, hospitality, and room design.
The location is in the heart of town so everything is within walking distance. The property sits back off the Main Street just far enough so it’s quiet in your room.
This is a wonderful family owned business with amazing hospitality! They own several establishments in town and have been here over 3 generations so you know they are doing something right.
The room design is nicely done, spacious and we loved the fireplace. It’s far from the typical cookie cutter chain hotels. You can see they put a lot of thought and

This place is amazing, feel like I am at home. Cozy, spacious rooms with all of the amenities of a five star hotel and more! Gas fireplace, King bed, Jacuzzi tub, microwave, freezer, refrigerator, oversized closet and dressing area. Family owned, RJ is the best in service! I would highly recommend this for a romantic getaway, we will definitely be back. Oh yeah and the price is a steal, you will not be disappointed!

When I was booking our lodging for vacation, The Haber Motel was the most reasonably priced. R.J and his family do a great job of making this place feel welcome. The location can't be beat-right in town so you can walk to all of the shops and restaurants! When we arrived, R.J was there and greeted us kindly, offered to make reservations at any restaurants or activities for us if we so desired, even made a list of things he thought we should do or places we should visit. He makes himself available, said we could text or call him anytime if we had questions about town, etc. I appreciated this

So really, for roughly $100 a night (off season), what do you get? A great motel bargain. The motel is on the edge of the Estes downtown shopping area and restaurants. The room is huge, remodeled recently. A big comfortable bed, big TV with DirectTV, fast WIFI, gas fireplace, ceramic tile floor. Large bathroom. SPOTLESS the room was. This is family owned and run by RJ, a younger family member (and a great kid!) who handles everything and is the housekeeper. This motel deserves your business. I will be back.

We arrived for a 2-night stay at this motel. Never got to a room. The experience was an unmitigated disaster. Upon our arrival to the motel's "office" the owner immediately used foul and abusive language, claiming that I was a "condescending d***" because I dared to utter one sentence: wow, this not what I expected. The owner immediately started to yell, calling me names and refused to honor our 2-month old reservation. He ordered us off the property, threatening to call the police. I said I would welcome the police to witness his behavior. He then stood up from his desk

The location was a little odd when I first pulled in. It is located behind two fast food places and a bank. There is a view from the 2nd floor of the mountains across the street. The neighborhood isn't bad. The down side of the location is the garbage truck showed up at 5:30 am on a Saturday. The shower head is not that great. I would guess it's low flow but there are ones that produce larger drops and are nicer to use.
The room is larger than average. They could even fit a love seat in the room. The bathroom is a little larger for a motel and the dressing area has a large closet. The

We stayed here because of the rave reviews at a number of online sites. For a motel, it's not bad, but also not better than your basic Best Western. And for the supposedly discounted rate we paid of $150/night including tax, that's no deal.
If your goal is to have basic amenities, be close to town, and price is no option, than the Haber is your place. But located in the back of a restaurant parking lot with no view and loud truck noise in the morning is not how I want to spend a weekend away. There are plenty other places around Estes Park closer to hiking, with better views, and many

Woohoo! As good as it gets in Estes Park!
Ok - keep in mind this is Estes Park, but this place was a little gem. It only has 6 rooms, but the rooms are spacious and very clean. The place looks like it was only built only a couple of years ago. The bed was extremely comfortable as well.
The only draw backs are that it is located behind a couple of restaurants - odd location. And in the morning around 6:30 - 7 AM the trash trucks empty the dumpsters. This did wake us up each morning. But, looking around there are no other places in Estes Park that could measure up to this place even with

CAUTION! They will charge you a ridiculous cancellation fee regardless of how much time you give them notice, the WORST part is that they don't tell you about the fee when you call to book the room... When you do call and cancel the room, they will direct you to a link in their e-mail that tells you about the cancellation fee, but at that point they already have your money.
I booked a 2 night stay for 9/1/12 & 9/2/12, called on August 21st to cancel because I won't be making the trip and was told I would be charged the fee. That's an 11 day notice, but do you think they care
