We have stayed at this resort several times and it has been a great experience everytime. We enjoy the location and amenities. Some area of improvement would be the linens
(specifically the bedding) the sheets and blanket didn't seem clean. The carpet was sticky and I always had shoes on.. that may have been due to humidity. No glasses/plastic in our kitchenette. We didn't have anything for coffee.

While we enjoyed the amenities this hotel had to offer, they lacked in the hotel room. Rooms aren't cleaned anymore even if you're out. Now, there is only soap in the room. There is a coffee pot but no coffee, sugar, or creamer, nor coffee cups. There are plates, bowls, utensils, and pots. There is a sink to wash dishes but no detergent. They don't even have a blow dryer anymore.
While the price continues to go up, they put less and less in the rooms. Now, you have to clean your own room, empty your own trash, and vacuum yourself. Didn't we come for vacation, not to clean?

Our stay was great, the only thing they could improve is they are a pet friendly hotel and this is why we chose this wonderful place. But there is nowhere for the dogs to go to the bathroom. We had to walk our dogs across the street to a little spot. There is a big green grass area right next to hotel they use for kids for summer, coukd fence off a little potty break in that area

They allow people to smoke pot, and physically assault people by there pool. After talking to management, they asked us to leave instead of the other people. That told me that two rooms are more important than the facts. I would not recommend this place to any family, or anyone who is looking for a relaxing time.

The rooms are so outdated, I don’t think the bathroom had air conditioning because it was so hot in there and we actually came home from our trip early after killing two roaches in our room, the room smelled of mildew and was definitely a trigger for mine and my sons asthma/allergies. This was our first time staying there and will definitely be our last. We have read some wonderful reviews of people talking about how much they loved it but I’m not sure what’s to love. The amenities are average and definitely do NOT make up for what’s lacking with their rooms.

We have stayed many times at The Sandpiper. One of my granddaughters took her first steps there ! The staff has always been friendly.The kids love the lazy river and the pool . In case of rain, there is always something for them to do. There were some differences this year, which I attributed to Covid precautions, possible staffing issues, and the multiple storms you've been through. I was just so thankful the Sandpiper is still standing ! None of these things kept us from having a great time ! Love the Tiki Bar, too !

Great customer service from John ( manager of beach toys, chairs & umbrellas). Didn’t stay, but needed John’s service, for beach toys etc..Always promptly answered the phone every time. Great explanation of weather and surrounding areas. Friendly service! Glad to have done business with Sandpiper. Nice beach bar also with fast service. Will probably stay here when needed

The rooms are very comfortable I do enjoy the amenities. Very disappointed though went to rent a cabana on the beach this is after the holiday Labor day weekend. So the resort isn't very crowded. I came here last May and I don't remember spending $55 for a cabana. When I inquired why it went up so much I was told supply and demand. As I look out my balcony towards the cabanas, it doesn't appear to be that much of a demand at 2:00 pm on a Saturday. Also I asked for a paper plate and some napkins from the bar, I also checked with they're on site restaurant, this was on

This place is dirty and full of racist pig bartenders. So not a good place to go to we have been here 15 years and thanks to mike the manager we will never be back. He denied a handshake and was not friendly and he gave my white cousin 2 drinks and my black boyfriend was not allowed to have one with a valid. He is pathetic.

Beyond disappointed with our experience. We decided to go down last minute and they were able to accommodate us which I greatly appreciated. Room was dated but for the price we were pleased. My son and I went exploring the morning after check in since we didn't have time the day prior and found a NAKED man at the lazy river. Alerted the man at the front desk and was told he was the only one there and couldn't do anything. I told him he should call the cops and he told me he could give me their number so I could call. #1 I am a woman with a child that should have never been put in that

We check in on Friday. Get our room and go up to get settled in. Fast forward to later that evening, around 7. Sliding door doesn't want to work, no worries call maintenance. Maintenance seems kinda aggravated. No worries get it taken care of. Come 9 o'clock after we've listened to doors slamming all day and kids screaming all day and the ones who stood under our balcony intoxicated screaming and carrying on, we wanted to just leave and make the two hour drive back home. But after much thought chose to stay.
Saturday morning gets better. We wake up at 5 am! Yes 5am to yet again screaming

Visited the Sandpiper for a 3 day weekend a little outside of peak season for PCB. Two adults, an 8 y/o and an 18 month old.
We LOVED the cool events for the days. Bingo, nighttime movie on the beach, foam party.... it's family friendly and was highly enjoyed.
The place has two outside pools. Both are busy. The one up front is busier because it has a large slide. This pool also has very limited deck seating. One more outside pool would be perfect. There's also a hot tub, an indoor lazy river and pool.
The tiki bar is a blast. Full bar, virgin drinks, ping pong, pool, and corn hole

Ugh. The place looks awesome on the website. That's where the awesome ends. Get there to check in, have my 92 year old grandma and 69 year old mom with me. Both have major mobility issues which were disclosed when I made the reservation. Walk in the lobby, room is on the third floor, but "there is an elevator so you will be ok"
Then it becomes a big deal about how they have to come in and get their arm bands out on, "arm bands can not be taken out" really?????? I paid for the room, put their name on the list, just give me the band!
