Community Style Acupuncture is acupuncture performed in a community setting, the way it has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Meeting Point Community Acupuncture in Denver and Golden Colorado are modeled after Working Class Acupuncture, a community clinic in Portland, OR. At Meeting Point we have a beautiful semi-private community room with several massage tables and recliners.
Your first session with Dr. Jeanette Reed will include a full history, a consultation and a spinal exam. This will be followed by your first gentle adjustment. There are no fast, or forceful spinal manipulations given by Dr. Reed. The technique she employs is gentle and can be used on young children as well as seniors due to its low force application.
The Denver location of Meeting Point Community Acupuncture is located within a mile of Washington Park (Wash Park), very close to the Denver Design District and 3 blocks away from the intersection of Alameda and Broadway. When traveling south on Broadway, after passing Virginia Ave, you will see a Just Brakes on the left.

Not enough attention to personal issues. I need work done on my hips and legs and I was not able to get a satisfactory treatment from any of the visits I made here over the past couple years. Relaxing and calming yes, but not the clinic for someone like me with chronic pain issues. They have 1 table to lay on which allows better treatment access to my hips, yet they never let me use it. Apart from lack of focus on my issues, receiving treatment in the lounge chair restricts the quality of treatment I received here.

Very grateful to have found a community acupuncture setting that allows me to get treated more often. I'm thankful to all the staff that works there who are very skilled acupuncturists and help me with my health concerns. I wish it were a little closer to home, but it's worth the drive there for the acupuncturists and the treatments. They offer a sliding scale and I'm happy to see their treatment room fill up each day as I get treated. Thank you very much!

I have the hip displacement . So a lot of times I was in pain that I could not get rid of. After six months of having treatments I didn't have any more pain . I kept going in my back doesn't hurt like it used too. Love them . Very comfortable in their facility and enjoy being there and wish I could go more. I have recommended a few people there… I know one that she was in a lot of pain before she went to the meeting point and now she doesn't live in so much pain . Before I found Meeting Point Acupuncture, I thought that acupuncture was out of my price range. Since I've been getting treatments, I not only realize that it's affordable, but also extremely effective. Jessica is very skilled and attentive to my changing needs.
