Convenient location. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Due to COVID, housekeeping was extremely limited but did not interfere with our stay. Continental breakfast was acceptable. Overall, staying at Flagship Inn was a very positive experience and we would certainly stay there again on our next visit to Boothbay Harbor.

A great stay in Boothbay Harbor. Check in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. The coffee at breakfast was so good, and they even had hot breakfast sandwiches. The location is perfect for getting into Boothbay Harbor and visiting local attractions (Coastal Maine Botanical Garden and the railroad museum).

Nice clean rooms, very friendly staff and dog friendly. Great location just outside the craziness of downtown Boothbay Harbor. Nice breakfast each morning and a fun restaurant for evenings right on site. Had a great BBQ on Saturday. There is a great dog walking area right across the bridge and behind the Carousel Theatre (Penny Lake Reservation) Another great dog walk spot nearby was Dodge Point

This is more like a 2-story motel. The location is just minutes from the harbor area. There is a musical theater within 100 feet but this was closed during our stay. It would have been a wonderful experience for us to attend a show there then simply walk back to our room after. The rooms were clean and well equipped but the decor was certainly dated. The plastic chairs on the shared balcony must have been made from egg shells and would crack if you lean back too far. The free breakfast served both hot and cold items, For the price, this is likely one of the best bargains in the area .

This is a perfect inn after a day outdoors. The rooms are impeccably clean and roomy. As of time of this review, the rooms seem recently renovated, water pressure is solid, friendly staff, and easy parking. The pool is clean and there's nothing like jumping into it after a day of hiking or boating. Complimentary breakfast is simple but does the job. Way better than a similarly priced Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn.

I was really pleasantly pleased with my recent stay at this hotel. It is right up the road from all the shops but far enough away you don't hear all the hussle and bussle. The room was a good size and clean and for a reasonable price. I did not even realize they also have continental breakfast every morning. You could get bagels, muffins, waffles etc.... There is also an indoor pool and hot tub. If I came back to Boothbay again I would definitely stay here and recommend to others.

Says free wifi. But we were in back rooms and it was extremely slow
Sheets don't fit the bed always loosing fitted sheet off the mattress
I THINK the people next door to us were long term stay on welfare and they were very rude to us and made us uncomfortable. Acted like they owned the place. Room 242. They were also loud at night after 10 talking outside the door.
Showers had very low water pressure.
Pool was nice. Nice to be able to have our dogs stay with us here. But needs some

Let's be real: it's a motel with "inn" pricing. The two stars are for it being very clean, though the sheets are worn. The walls are super thin, so don't expect any quiet. Had I known this, I would have gone elsewhere, especially for paying $120/night. The toiletries and room set-up are what you get in a Rodeway motel, which charges half the price. When I had an issue with a noise like a washing machine against my room starting at 2:30 am, the night guy tried to ignore the call. It legit rang ten times before going to voicemail. I called a second time and he picked up on

We booked this because it is pet friendly. Our room was very very clean even though it is the pet room. They also left treats and toys for our dogs. It is just outside of Boothbay harbor downtown district, so very quiet. But it is close enough that you can walk into town in about 15-20 minutes which we suggest since parking in the harbor can be tough to find. They also serve a very good continental breakfast as part of the room rate.

The motel was extremely clean. We brought our 8 lb dog, and stayed in a pet room. Breakfast is in a separate building. Hard boiled eggs, biscuits & gravy, toast, bagels, yogurt & trail mix. The people who cleaned or room, were the best. Left doggie treats for our dog.
We bought fresh oysters nearby, and shucked them on a picnic table out front.
They only have a few pet rooms, so get a reservation. Only down side was that they didn't take our hotelcoupons.com coupon with our dog.
Great location, about 1/2 mile from downtown. Grocery store two minute walk.

Have stayed here a few times. This is the first time in a "pet free" room. Was really disappointed. The mattress left us both with sore backs, the cover of one of the pillows had stains (and stayed despite cleaning service-we were here two nights), and they didn't give us another bag for the ice bucket. Guessing the cleaning staff is in need of a little "management" and maybe some newer mattresses are in order. Overall not the worst experience ever and might stay again, but the "pet friendly rooms" offer much less to complain about surprisingly.
