Can't say enough good things about Brown's! Location is picturesque, every room has a water view and balcony. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room was spotless clean and comfortable. They even give you a free breakfast with homemade muffins. We will definitely be coming back!

Great rooms. All with a view. The staff from check-in to room service are outstanding. Clean, well equipped. Homemade blueberry muffins are fabulous - a bonus for a light breakfast with coffee juice fruit and yogurt.

Pulled a mooring ball for a few days & thoroughly enjoyed it here. Continental Breakfast, Courtesy Truck, $15 per night cheaper than Carousel, Showers were $1.50 cheaper & so much more friendlier & helpful!

Had a very nice stay at Brown’s Wharf. Dorothy at the front desk was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. Had a nice balcony to relax in. The parking was plenty and the inn was close to all.

This being our 8th year, it's time to say why we keep coming back. Same room, same time of year, same awesome experience. From the balcony to the bathroom, the room is always clean and comfortable. Sitting on the balcony with an awesome view of the harbor, fishing for mackerel from the dock, making new friends. Just what a vacation should be

Stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed. Got the steamers and they were incredibly delicious and clean. My son got the lobster roll and it was one of the best. A little pricey but he said worth it. Nice outdoor seating view.

We drove up from Georgia to see Maine and eat a Lobster and we did just that. Little did we know we would have a fantastic time at this hotel. The desk staff was amazing! Mrs. Diana was absolutely awesome. Even had some resident dockers take us in and made us feel so welcome. (Mr.Jeff). The hotel was perfect, from bedding to bath. The view is out of this world breathtaking! It was just a short walk to see the other side of the harbor. I wish the restaurant would have been open. We enjoyed fishing off the docks so much. We will be back and have already recommended this hotel to our family and friends

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable, and I enjoyed sitting out on the deck for hours soaking in the view. Came during the windjammer days and loved seeing them sail into the harbor and watching the fireworks that night with a great view from the hotel. Had a lovely time.

The restaurant is closed for the 2021 season. We stayed in the hotel. Great location and within walking distance to downtown. The room was clean with a balcony for viewing the harbor, but the bed was terrible. The headboard squeaked and bounced everytime you moved and the bed sank - we could not find a comfortable spot. The hotel is conveniently located to most anything you want to do in the area. A disappointing stay for a hotel that was almost $300/night.

My husband and I spent two nights here and loved everything about it. The service was excellent at the front desk and in the restaurant, the room was spotlessly clean, with up to date decor and linens. Every room has a balcony with a view, and ours overlooked the inner harbor. The Inn is run by the fourth generation of the Brown family. There is a free open air trolley that stops at the Inn every half hour, and takes you to the touristy/shopping area all day from 10 to 5. If you'd rather walk, the famous Boothbay footbridge is about 4/10 mile from the Inn. We highly recommend Brown's

This is a gorgeous place to stay. Rooms overlook the beautiful harbor of Booth Bay and the quaint town of Booth Bay Harbor with the church as the beacon from every location in this lovely town. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are extremely clean(Sandy is so personable and very quick to clean the rooms spotless).

Having been here 40+ years ago, the town of Booth Bay Harbor has stay much the same as we remembered. We've fallen in love with Booth Bay Harbor again.

Had a delicious meal here with my husband and in-laws. We got the calamari as an appetizer which was perfectly fried. I ordered the lobster sauté as my meal, as I was feeling especially lazy and didn't feel like putting in the effort to an actual lobster diner. The service was quick, and the meal was delicious. I stood by my decision to order the sauté as my husband slaved over cracking his lobster open, staring enviously at me as I savored delectable bites of lobstah sans effort.

Out in-laws stay at the hotel every year and said it was lovely as well. Definitely putting this place on the

Had two meals here over our vacation a few weeks ago, as well as staying in the hotel attached to the reasturant. The food was great. I had clams which were were large(used to getting littlenecks) and my only complaint was they were a bit dry. The service for dinner was good. My wife had soup and a salad which both were great. Also came here for breakfast. Had pancakes and eggs Done well... The rooms are nice. We were cove side and had a nice view of the lobster dock. My inlaws were bayside with a great view of the marina as boothbay. Will be back next year

Brown's Wharf RESTAURANT was very good. Great view of the harbor while dining. Waitress was very friendly & the food was great. I had the lobster saute' and it was very good. They added sherry to the butter and it was very flavorful! My husband had the seafood trio and he enjoyed it very much too! We will come back the next time we are in the area.

This is my favorite hotel / restaurant in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine.

THE INN -- We discovered this place during our last trip to Maine 4 years ago and had it on our "must go back" list for this trip to Maine. The place has been owned by the same family (the Browns) since sometime in the late 1940's or early 1950's. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the views of the harbor are incredible. Our balcony was directly over the water with fantastic views of Booth Bay and it's working harbor. You could watch the working lobster boats come and go. This hotel is actually

All rooms have a water view with a balcony, the hotel is older but there are no signs of disrepair, I love that the front of the hotel is studded with beautiful window boxes, it's a nice touch. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the staff was terrific, this was our first stop in Maine and it could not have been better.

What a great night. We're staying at Brown's Wharf and were doubtful about the restaurant. We've stayed at this motel for 50 years and the decor hasn't changed which is part of it's charm. The restaurant has never been a top choice. However, we were incredibly surprised. First, the food was wonderful. We had the lobster, scalloped potatoes, and fresh broccoli. I also had the French Onion Soup which was home made with garden thyme. It was not greasy or overly breaded like so many lazy, old restaurants serve. Second, the fireplace was magical. It was like what you would
