A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

Dr. Krauss as been my dentist for about five years and the quality of his care is second to none. The office is beautiful, with new equipment and technology, the staff is skilled and friendly and Dr. Krauss delivers expert care. I had to have a cavity filled this week and the experience was excellent for a procedure that I used to dread! Thank you Dr. Krauss!!

An absolutely wonderful dentist! Kind, caring, compassionate, competent. Excellent support staff. I've been going to Dr. Krauss for more than twenty years, and have always been pleased with the results, even though I came with a healthy dose of "dentist dread" acquired as a child with a dentist who didn't think children "needed" anesthesia. Yes, drilling and filling with nothing. Dr. Krauss is very gentle and patient, and his support staff is very kind. Very highly recommended.

I have been a patient of Dr. Krauss for Quite awhile now and have never in my over 60+ years of various dentists and dental maintenance experiences have ever felt as lucky as I feel when I am in their office. Dr. Krauss and his hygienist staff and front office team are all more than capable , knowledgeable , experienced and also very kind.
