At Garage Bar & Bowl, we believe in setting the standard for local food and service. We take pride in providing fun for everyone, a fresh and delicious menu, and a memorable experience for every customer who walks through the door. Maintaining that standard means hiring experienced servers, bartenders, and other restaurant industry professionals who know how to combine professionalism, service, and fun in a fast-paced environment.
My father-in-law requested Garage Bar and Bowl for his early Father's Day meal. It was so nice to see it busy and people having a good time. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. We ordered the cheese curds to start. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, everyone else ordered burgers. My chicken was so juicy and flavorful and the burgers were cooked to order, the fries were hot and fresh.
We take pride in being a scratch kitchen, serving tasty food made with locally sourced ingredients, prepared in-house and exceeding expectations for a local sports bar and grill. Ellsworth Creamery: Located 75 miles away in the Village of Ellsworth, the "Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin." They source from 400+ dairy farm families to produce their cheese.
We prioritize joy and excitement for all at the Garage, running non-sanctioned leagues based in fun and friendly competition. Bowling league seasons are divided into two separate sessions, each running 12 weeks over the fall and winter months. League bowling at the Garage is intended to be less formal and more focused on everyone having a good time.
Our fun, lively atmosphere, delicious food, and customer-focused service make Garage Bar & Bowl the perfect location for your next party or event. You can bring in your own cake/desserts and small decorations to set up in your reserved areas.

4.5 stars. My friend & I met here to do a little catching up & it was our First time here. We will definitely be back! We may try the bowling next time too.
The food was very good & our waitress was fantastic! I only wish I could remember her name! I will remember her smile though.
We had the Potato skins to start & those could almost be a meal. I had the Cuban & my friend had a bacon cheeseburger.

A local bowling alley that is underrated.
We had family in town from out of state visiting. And we were on the fence about what our Sunday looked like. With four kids under ten, we felt a pull towards a family-friendly activity. The original plan was to hit up the local brewery and winery. I am so glad we chose bowling. I called up to see availability on lanes for a group of 11. The gal was very kind and mentioned first come, first serve. We arrived and got two lanes immediately. The wings could have used more dill, yet delicious no matter what.

This particular review is for anyone looking to order a salad. I would NOT recommend the Grilled Caesar Salad. Even though I missed the fact that it was a 'grilled' Caesar salad I cannot justify spending $6 on six leaves of romaine and some croutons. Also, by grilling lettuce it becomes soggy and unappetizing in my opinion. My order was 'to go' and happened to be missing the added chicken breast, which of course I didn't realize until I was already home. Needless to say, this experience was less than satisfactory.
So the Caesar salad gets zero stars for me but the pizza, the cheese curds, the

I love everything dill pickle. So when I saw the Dill Pickle Dilemma on the menu at Garage Bar & Bowl, I knew what I was getting! This thing is loaded w/ pickle chips, roasted garlic, smoked dill pickle seasoning, fresh dill, Ranch dressing and Garage three-cheese blend!

(The food and beer is great) but...
I'm just surprised they don't have someone there, on hand, who knows how to fix the bowling alleys. I came on a somewhat busy night, and there where only 2 out of 6 lanes BARELY functioning. It totally happens, and I understand. But I came to bowl with friends, not eat in the restaurant. Each area should have equal attention if you're going to advertise both. We were being actively ignored by the staff, and I was personally treated extra poorly by one individual (who I will not name). I understand being busy and frazzled (I've worked most of my young life in

The vodka club soda was basically seltzer with a splash of vodka. The Garachos had "pickled jalapeños " which must have been picked in nutmeg? The mimosas tasted like we were drinking a tin can. The cheese curds were delicious and the ranch tasted of dill which was delicious.
Not worth the money. But fun atmosphere

The place is spacious and bright and with the open windows, the breeze comes in which was very nice.
Our server, Kayla (hopefully I got her name right), was very friendly.
We came back around 4 with my daughter and her friend. I didn't order any food because we're going to have dinner somewhere else but I tried the wings and it was very good.
Their ingredients are locally sourced, so that's always a plus for me. Sorry, can't say much about the food but they look very good so try 'em.
Like the place and the ambience.

I was there a few weeks ago for the first time with my family. The wings were awesome but it was hard to truly enjoy them when flies consistently try to land on your food. If you're going to have the garage doors open in the summer you may want to have fly traps or something. Would seeing dead flies on traps be gross? You bet it would, but I would rather see them on the strips than on my food.

With the limited choices around town for a good family dinner, we really wanted to like it. Unfortunately after our second visit we will probably wait for a while before we come back. The place looks great and the atmosphere is fun. On the downside the food has been mediocre at best. The potato chips were burnt, the bbq sandwich didn't have enough sauce, the kitchen skipped the onion straws and the fries were hard (not fresh). The kids meal came out five minutes after the adult meals (there should be rules against this ;-)). The unisex bathrooms desperately needed attention (ick). The service

Kitchy remodel of an old saloon/bowling alley, with open garage doors to the street. Open lanes may be challenge to secure as there are only 6 of them. The menu is very small. I had the only burger on the menu, which was supposed to come out medium, but was quite a bit more hockey-puckish. This is probably a fun good weather meeting spot, for a couple beers, but don't count on a culinary treat.
