When I began investigating massage schools, I lived in northeastern Vermont at the time. I didn't choose the closest school or the one that cost the least. I chose the best. I chose NHITA. The New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts' curriculum offers a wide array of quality techniques, so that upon graduation, students feel confident working safely and effectively on clients walking through the office doors.
Carol is Director of the school, providing administrative direction and student advisement at the Nashua campus. She is a licensed massage therapist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of New Hampshire. Carol instructs Emergency Procedures, Health Service Management, Integrated Techniques, and Neuromuscular Technique.

I was a recent 2020 graduate of NHITA and the only complaint I had was the timing of Corona virus. I can't compliment NHITA enough for their proactive response to the epidemic and the rapid turnaround in instituting a remote plan. Our entire class graduated on time with pride and comradery. As a middle--aged individual, I lacked confidence that I could learn anything new, let alone the complex subject of Anatomy; but the support of faculty, encouraging and astute communication, and my own hard work and effort, I succeeded beyond my expectations. I will be forever grateful to NHITA and its staff

I am a recent graduate from NHITA and I cannot say enough great things about my time there. Upon registration I was one of those inquiring minds filled with question and concerns about this new venture a massage therapist and Carol was beyond patient and endlessly supportive with me. If she didn’t have an answer at the time she would always get back to me which made me feel validated and supported from day 1. She was my first great impression and her leadership and support transpired throughout the rest of the instructors over the course of the year and she was outstanding sharing her knowledge

I have so many wonderful things to say about my experience with this school that the only way to stay concise is to break it down into three key points: the school’s accreditation, the knowledgeable instructors and the externship.
The New Hampshire Institute for the Therapeutic Arts is the only accredited massage therapy school in the state. When searching for massage positions, particularly in the healthcare field like hospitals and clinics, under the education requirements it’s common to see: 'graduated from an accredited school.’ Even if you don’t see yourself in a clinical setting

The education I received at New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts changed my life! The instructors were professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The information dispensed was timely and the atmosphere fostered encouragement for our growth and expertise as Massage Therapists. As a successful, practicing Massage Therapist for 5 years now, I highly recommend this school if you are considering a career in Massage Therapy!

I took a big move to transition careers, was told they were flexible with payment and overall seemed like a dynamic school. The director is not helpful and does not provide direct assistance. In fact, we have to secure our own externship for practicum hours. She gives you a paper with businesses who probably wanted students from 2006. None of it was up to date, even the quizzes and test that are administered. I am still waiting for a direct call from someone since I withdrew.

I looked at a few schools before deciding on this one. I should start by saying that I had no prior experience/education in the medical field or with anatomy. After meeting with the director of this school I was confident it was the right choice.
I know a lot of Massage Therapy students that come out of school intimidated to go out on their own. This wasn't the case here, the knowledge and skill I acquired from this school was MORE than enough to prepare me for the real world. In fact I went right out to open my own business with success.
All of the instructors worked to make sure all the students
