Our home inspection process is a very thorough one. We analyze the home's structure, components, and systems for function and safety. We work from a top down method, starting at the roof and ending at the foundation or crawl space. Following the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) standards of practice, we pride ourselves in offering our clients the most comprehensive and thorough inspection possible.
These inspections are a condensed version of our Home Inspection and are often required for homeowners insurance. A four point inspection reports to the insurer on the function and safety of the 4 main systems of the property: Roof, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This is the baseline for insurability.
Floridian living is most notable when water is involved. Pools require a special set of eyes to identify deficiencies. Add high suction pipes, very high amperage electricity, and corrosive chemicals- a pool is much more than a can you swim or not. We check for existing hazards, potentially hazardous electrical wiring, and for proper operations of pool pumps and filter assemblies.
The seawall components, including but not limited to, the seawall cap, bulkhead, panels, footings, and any other component which is visible from the land side of the structure. 2. The land side components of the wall system for signs of settlement or soil loss by either visual means or probing the soil behind the seawall, or a combination of both.
