Services
In the same way that you dress and prepare for a job interview or a first date - staging prepares your home for those critical first 10 seconds with buyers. Buyers decide in the first few seconds whether your home is a contender for them or not. Staging your house provides your best chance of a sale within 30 days for full market value.
When you want to sell fast, maybe even with multiple offers call Rocky Mountain Home Staging. We are committed to excellent results and will tailor our approach to meet your needs and budget. Because every home is different, at Rocky Mountain Home Staging our comprehensive suite of home staging services can be customized just for you.
Real estate experts agree that the number one selling mistake is "failing to showcase your home and not making small cosmetic changes." Like a first date there is only one chance to make a first impression. But unlike a first date the value of what you have to offer goes down over time AND the market interest declines too because there is fresh competition coming on the market all the time.
If you've been a real estate agent for any time at all, you know that nothing that YOU DO can overcome what the SELLER WILL NOT DO. You know the importance of how a property shows when it comes to selling. You know how competitive the real estate market is these days. And you know that sellers have about 10 seconds to capture a buyer - unless they want to sell for below market value that is.
But a sluggish economy and rising foreclosures have made it tougher to sell a home. So sellers are looking for an edge, which is why a large number of real estate agents recommend home staging. And there's evidence to support its effectiveness. Staged homes really do sell faster, according to a 2009 survey by the Real Estate Staging Association.

Sara Garden owner of Rocky Mountain Home Staging is exceptional! I've had 3 prior stagers and none nearly as qualified. She has a real eye for makings space very appealing to potential buyers. When she was finished with my home I didn't want to leave! It was so much more inviting and upscale than before. This is the third home I've sold in the past 4 years and I received a better offer than expected and I'm sure it was because of Sara's exceptional work!

Sara is fantastic! She will tell you that her job is to get you the top price for your house, and she really knows how to do that.
In the early stages of selling our home, she came over twice to advise us on painting (what to paint and what colors), and what changes had to be made to get the house ready for sale. This was great information for us. We did what she suggested. When we had completed her instructions, she came over and did her magic staging the house. WOW!, the house looked fantastic.
In the end, we had four offers for the house two days after the listing and they were all

So, what does "home staging" actually mean in real life? We'd watched the HGTV shows where folks get seemingly miraculous results from spending a modest amount of money prior to listing their formerly dumpy house. However, that's television. This was real... We wanted to get our home on the market within 60 days and hit the Spring 2013 selling season.
I contacted Sara with my skepticism firmly in place, and asked her what we'd be getting for "1-3%" of the sales price that is often quoted as an appropriate amount for staging. (So, on a 500K home, you could expect to spend $5-15K....really?) That
