Originally settled in 1840 as a mineral springs resort, Ashland has a rich history that gives it an old town charm. In 1868, Randolph Macon College moved to Ashland, allowing the town to evolve from a railroad resort to a small college town.

I love living in Misty Pines Apts. The apartments are very affordable. The community is friendly and quiet. Pam in the rental office is the best. She is very sweet and very helpful. She is not only my apartment manager but my guardian angel as well. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. 5 Stars from me!!

I moved into Misty Pines in 2002. Throughout these years I've had more than 8 floods due to sewer problems and rain. Management never changed my carpet even though I requested that over numerous occasions. The only thing they did was change out my padding and put my same carpet back down. They never checked to see if any mold or mildew was there. If you are planning on moving there please don't allow them to move in apt 51 or any surrounding apartments. Just this week they have had 2 floods and nothing was done. They always just patch the problem and never completely fix the problem. I'm so glad
