We had a very positive experience here the food was good and came out pretty quickly. Their carne asada was excellent as was the appetizer chips and salsa. Service was a bit slow as they appeared to be a bit understaffed but that is common these days with the pandemic. We enjoyed it and plan on going back. Lots of different things to choose from.

Came in the middle of the week for lunch and I could tell the wait staff was minimal. However, the waitress and others were friendly. It took longer than usual to get our food from the kitchen, as we waited 20 minutes or so. As always the food was hot and tasty. I'll continue to attend Salda Leedos because they provide good value.

Can't say I didn't give this place a fair shot. Been here a total of 4 times all throughout the past couple of years. First visit was really good but every time after that has been awful. Tried about 3 new items on their menu each time and every time we have been disappointed. Bland food and too salty. Burnt taquitos. They claim fresh guac but it's brown...

Tried Salsa Leedos Mexican Griil today. I was not impressed with the food at all. I order a a Chili Relleno Grande plate which came with a chili relleno, cheese enchilada, and a taco w/rice and beans on the plate as well. I lived in southern California for 26 years, and Mexican Food is one of my favorites. The food at Salsa Leedos, was not authentic Mexican food. I know others have raved about the food, it reminded me of a frozen TV dinner.

We have been here on two separate occasions and they have varied a bit. My wife got enchiladas and they were delicious and the sauce was great. Our first time I got the taco salad and really enjoyed all of it. The second time I got the burrleedo and was a bit disappointed. The portion is great for the cost, but the carne was super rubbery and dried out.

Not very happy this time. When we come here we usually have a great time and the food is amazing! Today, not so much. First of all, all waiters and waitresses should be fully trained before being on their own, as well as they should know the menu! But with that being said, Our waitress tried her best and I commend her for that. Going on, my order was wrong and they brought the right thing after which was fine but when my food finally came all of the other people at my table were done eating and the portion was so small. Literally 2 bites of rice, 2 tablespoons of beans and very limited meat. I

Amazing as always! Travis and his staff are the best in the industry. You can tell they love their jobs because everyone you encounter there is always happy. It's a genuine happy too. They take great care of everyone who walks in that door as if they're family. The food is amazing and the prices are great. Can't wait to go back!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake. We live about an hour south of Salt Lake and anytime we go up there we always make it a point to visit Salsa Leedos. The service is great and the food is very good. I have the fried taco combo it's awesome! Need to get there early cause they get pretty busy. Definitely worth the time to check it out. đź‘Ś

I understand this review is during COVID, BUT there is NO excuse for incorrect order AND slow service AND incorrect charge on bill.
Our waitress, Misty, first took a special order for us to make a cheese crisp. Which turned out to be nothing but a soggy tortilla w cheese on top. Which we got charged $10 for. We finished our chips, the soggy appetizer AND my drink before she even came back to take our order. By the way NEVER asked any of us if we even wanted a refill of iced tea, sprite or my bar order. Oh by the way we had 2 adults and a child. My wife ordered a fried taco. Again just a wet soggy

We were seated right away on a busy Saturday evening, and our table was clean. But it took almost 10 minutes for our waitress to even take our drink orders, so we ordered our meals at the same time. Our meals were delivered by a different waitress, and we had yet to receive our drinks. So we again requested them. After that, no one checked on us to see if our food was satisfactory or if we wanted drink refills - absolutely nothing.
Our original waitress finally returned long after we were done eating - perhaps another 10 minutes later - to give us our check. I had told my dining companion

Driving up to Salsa Leedos we were pretty excited to eat some good Mexican food! The decor outside is interesting. Some of it seems outdated. There were plenty of parking spots. The lady inside the restaurant who sat us at our table gave us menus but it wasn't until our waitress came that we actually got the lunch menu which was helpful to see the lunch specials. Our waitress was nice and the chips and salsa were good. It wasn't too busy for lunch today and it was a good spot to sit, eat, and chat.
I got the Leedos combination plate which seemed like a good choice but wow was I disappointedÂ

If I could leave no stars I would.
This entire dining experience was a total flop.
Waited 30 minutes for a table ( least of our issues)
Server left us waiting a long time for a soda, beer and shot. Beer arrived warm. Waited allot longer for my soda to be refilled to the point we had to ask her for a refill. Waited longer to place our food order until she asked us if she had taken our food order. When the food came my chicken chimichanga had a very weird taste. Not sure what spice or spices they use but it was really bad. I literally took one bite. Ended up in the bathroom twice while dining

Nice to know that EVERYTHING is house made!
The guacamole, salsa, refried beans, queso, even the tortilla chips are made fresh every day. Delicious.
Portions are ample and you can order ala carte.
Birthdays are fun, great singing and a complimentary ice cream Sunday for the birthday person.
We made reservations for 6, recommended.
Not 5 star because the table was very sticky, service was good but slow and we had to wait awhile for a table even though we had reservations. Ambiance is not great and the layout is strange ie: you have to nearly go through the kitchen area to get to the bathrooms

Salsa Leedos is solid. For the things they do, they do them well. Standard US / Mexican food with an extremely hot plate laden with tongue melting beans and cheese with your choice of main course.
The enchiladas a good, the salads are good, the tacos are standard. The burritos are where it is at and you need to come hungry or bring a suitcase for leftovers. And that is for the small one. The big one requires an overweight trucking permit just to get it to the table.
Oh, and pay the little bit of extra to get it smothered in Verde. Salsa Leedos does really good Verde.
Go for lunch and experience

Came here to have dinner with a friend on a Saturday evening. I don't know if they do call ahead of anything, but the wait was 45 min for 2. I found that to be a little crazy, but we imagined that most restaurants would have a crazy wait time on Saturday night. So we waited.
When we received our text that our table was ready, the restaurant has a strange set up, nothing about it is convenient. The staff we Interacted with weren't particularly friendly or professional.
The food really disappointed me. I supposed I was expecting authentic Mexican food, and this was not it. The plate

My little family LOVES Mexican food. It's our favorite type of food. But, this place for sure was a huge disappointment. Super small portions with huge price tags. Ordered the double enchiladas, and they didn't come in regular shells, they were the small fajita shells. It was insane for $13 no thank you.
The flavors were there. But the portions were ridiculous.
Chips and salsa were alright, the salsa felt like it was pace right out of a jar.
The service was also quite slow
Don't reccomend.
Go to Garcias or La Puente for better tasting food with way better prices.

Best Mexican-American food around the area. The food is always good and the portions are very big. The waitress are nice and helpful. Sunday Brunch is my favorite time to visit. The free flan with the Yelp's check-in is awesome!
A few cons. Their rewards program is not efficient, I have been to this place 4 times, gave my phone number to the waitresses and still have 0 rewards points. Also, on my last visit I felt like the tables were too close to each other, and I was not feeling comfortable with that.

My family came here for dinner with high hopes-we hear so many good things from people that we just KNEW it was going to be amazing. We were quickly greeted and taken to a table by the host. Our server came and took our drink order shortly thereafter and then came back to take our dinner order. We noticed that the restaurant appeared mostly full (for COVID times) and our server was possibly taking care of the majority of the tables.
Unfortunately, two of the three meals we ordered were wrong. I ordered three street tacos and received two enchiladas. Our server was extremely apologetic and offered
