If there were more stars to rate Jobella Salon they would all be above my review. Maura does my hair for me and she is just awesome! I have been in and out of salons throughout the years, but never found one that would stick. Not until JoBella! Also, all the people that work there are wonderful! Every hair stylist at JoBella is knowledgeable, professional and always accommodating!

MAURA is the owner of JoBella Salon when it was founded in 2005. She started in the industry in 1990 in an Aveda Salon in New Haven. Maura is a certified Master Colorist, has extensive education in razor haircutting, precision haircutting and makeup artistry. She trains and mentors all of our new talent at JoBella.

Came in today for a Balayage. I called this morning and they fit me in with Ange at 2:00. I got a cut, balayage, glaze, and blowout for $170! Ange was also nice enough to take before and after pictures and send them to me. I'll be going in a month or two to get it even lighter! This only took about two hours, too. I would definitely recommend Ange and Jobella's salon! Attached are my before and after pictures.

I had ang she was so sweet and very perceptive she went with something a little different than I had planned highlights instead of dying my hair darker to match my roots and I love it ! The cut she gave me not only looked great with the blow dry but also with my natural texture. Again she is so sweet and very good job will be going back to Ang again

I've been getting my haircut by Maura for over 20 years now, and my wife's been getting her hair cut and colored with highlights at JoBella for over 15 years and our 2 children use them also and they are all awesome and we would trust any of them with all of our hair needs there a full service salon and they will even get you beverages while your waiting we highly recommend this salon for all your hair needs

I started coming to Jobella a couple months ago after reading mostly positive reviews about the salon. I called ahead and explained that I have naturally dark hair but was already a full blonde for almost a full year prior to my first appointment at Jobella. My end goal was to be the silver grey color but I know that was difficult to achieve to i settlers for an Ash blonde. I called ahead and they set me up with Ang for the same day. Upon arriving we discussed my expectations and the first appointment went well but my roots were still uneven. I scheduled a second appointment and was not completely

I have been going here for a few years now. I have red hair and it is hard to find someone who can do reds well. Maura does them wonderfully. Her haircuts are also excellent. I have also had Jessica and Lauren do my hair - and they are great too. It's a clean, friendly place to be and their prices are very fair. For a long time I would get my hair done by a wonderful place in Chicago when I was in there visiting my son and family---for almost twice the money, and have it "make do" in between. Now I not only save money and am just as happy, but have more time to play withmy grandsons

I was home visiting my boyfriend's family for a wedding and needed an up-do the day of. After calling around, I made an appointment at JoBella with Ang. She looked at the different styles I was considering, and basically did a combination of two of them. I told her my hair is thick and would fall easily, so she used extra bobby pins and hair spray, which I was happy with. I got plenty of compliments on the up-do and it stayed up for 10+ hours. I will definitely come back again if I need another service when in Branford!

I have been going here since I moved to CT and think the staff is great. Lauren is so nice and wonderful. I am someone who actually dislikes getting their hair done, but Lauren makes it pleasant. She always offers to get you a beverage and remembers what you talked about previously. She has a great eye for color and her haircuts turn out so well. This reminds me...I need to make an appointment.

I have never felt so uncomfortable that I actually had to fake an emergency and leave. Angie has no clue as to what she is doing and it showed . I wanted a haircut and low lights and high lights and she just didn't seem confident or understand what I wanted. I just moved to the area and I rather drive an hour to my old place than go back here. I've never been to hair dressing school so why would a hair dresser not listen to what I want and ask ridiculous questions? When was the last time I got a haircut? I just moved to the area and was sent a coupon for a free cut in the mail from JoBella. I figured it couldn't hurt after the hack job my previous haircut was, and went today to give them a shot. I was scheduled the same day with Lauren, and when I arrived I was greeted warmly by her and barely waited a moment. I love this place! I am very thin fine hair so need to be careful when coloring highlighting. They use all natural products W/ NO chemicals or other junk that destroys your hair. I see Cindy she's fantastic! I haven't been in a while but I have to get there! As far as price I'm from Long Island New York so to me it's like what I pay down there and it's so worth it! I love it here. Let it be said that 1st of all I live in NY and travel to Ct every 5 weeks to get my color done. I have dark brown (almost black hair) and wanted and Ombre that transitioned from red to blonde. It took a creative and daring soul to attempt this and she made it look GLORIOUS!!!
