I am extremely sad, upset, and frustrated I chose this hotel for our 8 day stay in Sedona. We are only half way through, but we have gotten zero rest. No joke at all, ZERO rest. The walls are paper thin, you can hear every step people make above you, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs, opening and shutting doors, talking at all hours of the night. Literally every step someone takes sounds like a car backing into the building. This was supposed to be a relaxing getaway for my anniversary but it has been miserable. We are lucky to get a few uninterrupted minutes to sleep before being

The views are excellent, the location is excellent, and the service was absolutely excellent! What more could you ask for?
I'm always trying to find the best spot to stay at when I'm visiting Sedona. This Inn definitely made the list. Matterhorn Inn is located in uptown Sedona where the stores are just within walking distance. The property is newly renovated and has multiple updated amenities which I appreciate. But above all, the customer service was amazing. Upon check-in I was greeted by Tyler, he was friendly and informative. Gave me all the ins and outs about nearby restaurants/shops and

This is the perfect location, right in the middle of the uptown area. Rooms are extremely comfortable and the views are unmatched. There is no restaurant here but within a short walk if you want breakfast. There is very limited parking here so if you go out at night it is probable you'll have to park in the street. Friendly staff and well maintained building. I would stay here again

Our room wasn't ready on time. Not a big deal. I'm not a princess. Lol. They also didn't ask me for a credit card for incidentals at check in. Which I didn't know would turn out to be a big deal. I don't work there and don't know the protocol and I didn't know I was suppose to remind them. I assumed it was on file from booking? Our key didn't work, nor did the pool key. Again...Not a big deal to me, we just had to make another trip to the lobby. They called me and said they "forgot" to ask for a credit card at check in and my husband needed to pay

Booked a trip here earlier this year for the 4th of July weekend. As the date got closer, my girlfriend couldn't get the requested days off so we called a week prior to possibly get the date moved even though I had bought a non-refundable rate. We spoke with a gentleman and he informed us that we can switch the date around twice before it gets locked in for a non-refundable rate. We chose a tentative date mid August only because we had the option to possibly move the date one more time.
As August rolled by, we planned a year ahead mainly because of how bad COVID-19 is at this time fast forward

This place doesn't look bad from the outside because it was recently renovated...that's where it ends though; it was all downhill after that.
The place seemed deserted but the desk clerk claimed they were almost sold out...funny, standard canned reply.
The one staff guy looked about 19 and mean't well but wearing a t-shirt and not even knowing what Matterhorn means is not presenting a professional image. I've met more knowledgeable and professional staff at hostels in Europe for 25 euros a night.
I asked to see a room and while the king bed was nice, the decor is extremely

After paying over $500/night to stay in the Chalet, at the bare minimum I expected it to be cleaned before my arrival. We checked in after 3 PM and the management let us know our room was available and gave us a key, yet when we came inside the chalet had not yet been cleaned since the last visit. We found dirty sheets on the kitchen counter with mysterious brown stains, dirty sheets and bath towels on all the beds, and leftover food and drink from the last visitors. There was even left over toilet paper in the toilets! This would be disgusting at any time, but is simply disturbing given the rapid

I've been coming to this hotel for several years and it's always been just a hotel to stay in while touring around Sedona. However, the rooms have now been completely renovated and I believe under new ownership. I have to say, it's about time. I am very pleased with what I see. The most change I note is the bathroom. The lighting and the shower is very nicely modernized with a shower door now instead of a shower curtain. Large desk, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, hanging flat screen television and an area to lay your luggage is a great addition since I don't like to put
