Founded by Phil Orenstein, our practice embraces the best of both traditional western medicine, and eastern philosophies of care. Phil received his professional training at the world renowned Mayo Clinic. Personally, he has been transformed by the practice of Yoga, and he has found the principles and postures of this centuries old tradition to be invaluable in his work with patients.

Phil's career began over 37 years ago, in a large metropolitan hospital. He soon became curious about alternative ways of helping people get better, which prompted him to create his own practice at the Marsh Fitness Center in the early nineties. His commitment to treating the "whole" person strengthened and grew during that time, and in 1998 he launched Orenstein Physical Therapy.
As a long-term 'low-back' patient, I've been exposed to a myriad of doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists. With the discovery of Orenstein Physical Therapy, I feel I've found the ultimate multi-faceted approach to caring for my back as well as for my entire body. From the moment you open the studio door, you sense a true mind/body connection.
Orenstein Physical Therapy is in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Preferred One. I am 'out -of- network' with all other insurance groups. Whatever health insurance plan you have, my billing specialist will submit claims on your behalf. This includes active auto insurance claims. It is important to note that your medical insurance is a contract between you and your carrier.
I am reaching out to you to offer a continuity of care option of virtual appointments through a 'Zoom platform', during this period of time where health precautions are at the forefront.
