Lango Kids Northern Virginia

At the core of our classes are "challenges" that students complete in order to experience new vocabulary and grammar through movement, playacting, art and basic conversation. Initially, these challenges are quite simple, but as students are able to grasp more complex exercises, they begin to gain confidence and become proud of their growing knowledge.

Kids who come to Lango classes learn a new language-especially if they stick with their classes for a year or more. They also make developmental strides that will prepare them to succeed in school, gain an appreciation for other cultures and make new friends in the classroom - plus they have a great time in the process!

Children's language programs are rapidly gaining in popularity as parents realize that teaching a second language to their kids helps enhance their cognitive development, resulting in better grades and higher test scores later in life. Parents are also drawn to increasing their children's cultural awareness to help them succeed in our multi-cultural society.

Spanish, Mandarin, and Arabic Preschool Programs in West Springfield VA at Lango Kids Northern Virginia. Fun and play form the foundation for our preschooler's foreign language classes. Kids ages 3-5 learn key phrases in their new language through simple, repeated songs and chants.

Meanwhile, they become familiar with more complex aspects of the language by engaging in "adventures, " tactile and movement-based games that require them to solve simple problems - in their new language, of course!These adventures, starring the Lango Kids, our multicultural cast of characters, take students to other lands and cultures to ensure that their language instruction is combined with cultural exposure.

This program introduces Pre-k students to the Arabic Alphabet. By the end of the program, students will be able to identify, sound, and write the Arabic letters in their independent and initial forms. They will be able to use basic greetings and leave taking, common expressions, introduce themselves, and understand basic classroom directions.
