Bountiful Drug has a rich history in this community if you or your family members lived in Bountiful between 1910 and 1987 then you have heard or remember the old Bountiful Drug Co. It was originally located on the corner of Main St and Center St and moved over to its' current location on 500 S when it became the Medicine Shoppe in 1987.
Compounding combines an ageless art with the latest medical knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, allowing specially trained pharmacists to prepare customized medications to meet each patient's specific needs. Compounding is fundamental to the profession of pharmacy and was standard means of providing prescription medications before drugs began to be produced in mass quantities by manufacturers.
Do you know where your nutritional supplements are coming from? We do! We only buy from trusted sources that have good manufacturing processes and are respectable companies. We do our research so you don't have to! Supplements are not regulated in the United States and therefore may not contain the ingredients listed on the package when supplied by an untrusted or unreliable source.

My usual pharmacy having closed its location after many years, I decided to try Bountiful Drug. My first encounter with employees was pleasant. However, a particular drug was out of stock, and so they gave me what they could and invited me to come back the next day. The next day, my wife was in town, so she picked up the drug for me. However, she was required to give a co-pay that I was not informed about when I originally asked for the item. In my prior experiences over 40+ years, my pharmacists have always been careful to let me know of potential cost implications that might be more than a few

I sent my teenage daughter to pick up a prescription that the doctor had called in for her. She came home in tears. There had been a mixup at the doctors office, and the staff at the Bountiful Drug was not only unhelpful, but they were very indiscreet. My daughter was mortified when they started yelling back and forth about a prescription wart cream ( not the right prescription, BTW).
Also, the woman she talked to wasn't wearing a mask. I was on the phone with trying to work out the misunderstanding with the pharmacist, and I mentioned to him that she wasn't wearing a mask. He denied this. I learned

Terrible customer service!
So far I’ve had one prescription get filled here, when I went it to pick it up the girl was chatting with a personal friend for about 10 mins while I was waiting to be helped so I had to finally ask if she could help me, her & her friend both acted like I was a huge inconvenience to ask for my prescription & have her leave her PERSONAL CONVERSATION to the side, bad first impression that I was not happy about.
They take your phone number to send you many annoying texts & calls, I had to call the pharmacy to ask them to stop spamming me with phone calls & texts, I was

This is the only pharmacy I will ever use! They are always fully staffed and are so quick to get my prescriptions filled. The minute you walk in the door someone is there to help you. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and kind and take time to answer your questions. I read some of the bad reviews on here and I don't know what those people are talking about! I've been using Bountiful Drug for years and have only ever had great experiences!

I used this pharmacy to fill my daughters prescription that ran out while we were on vacation from Florida. Everyone was incredibly helpful and filling the prescription was such a breeze. The owner Mary was so welcoming, knowledgeable and easy to talk to when I picked up the medication. I'm so grateful they were able to help me out and can't thank them enough!

WOW!!! This is what a pharmacy should be! The woman that owns it (Mary) was so knowledgeable. She helped me with all of my questions, and I had many. I live far away but visit Bountiful often. I needed some help one day and went in. I was so impressed that I am transferring all of my prescriptions to Bountiful drug. Plus, they will ship my monthly medications to me if I can’t make it out to Bountiful. They also do flu shots. I’ll be taking my family there next month for those. Like I said...WOW!!! Also, they sell smarty-suckers (my son’s favorite). I usually have to go to a specialty candy

Have been doing business with Bountiful, Drug for about 2 years and the people there have been really nice but a few situations that have occurred leads me to (as of today ) to take my business else where. I won't go into detail on the different problems that arose but it boils down to customer service and their not paying attention to detail when filling a prescription.They pride them self's on their have great customer service and as a independent Pharmacy they should have above and beyond customer service as they can't match chain pharmacy's price's . This is worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to do business with. They are a compound pharmacy so it takes a little longer because your prescription has to be made in there lab. However, the first time I had it refilled it took less than 48 hours, which is great. The next time it took over 5 days and this last time I had no idea how long it took because they failed to notify me it was filled. My particular prescription is hormone based which requires taking it regularly, this pharmacy makes that impossible. I've always had a great experience at Bountiful Drug. The staff is helpful & friendly. I get text alerts to let me know when my prescriptions are ready so I don't have to wait around. I couldn't be happier with their services. Bountiful Drug takes care of all my needs be it a prescription, compound or health supplement.
