Services
Magna Center for Family Medicine was established by Holy Cross Hospital (now named Salt Lake Regional Medical Center) in 1977 to meet the community's need for primary care services. Currently, medical services at the clinic are provided by seven primary care physicians, seven mid-level providers, a general surgeon, and an otolaryngologist.

Used to examine many parts of the body, such as the abdomen, thyroid, hernias, blood clots, and female reproductive system. Useful in diagnosing medical complications, including chest pains, abdominal pain, infections, GI complications, cancer, feet issues and blood clots. A test revealing the status of your optic nerve and retina, critical to preventing and treating eye conditions that could potentially lead to vision loss.
Gastrointestinal services are conditions that include the health of your stomach, intestinal tract and other digestive organs. The risk of getting colorectal cancer increases with age. Colorectal cancer screening can save your life. The most common screening and diagnostic tool for the lower GI system is a colonoscopy.

Nurses and doctor Spencer were professional and were understanding. They were kind and understood my situation. They were very helpful and knew I was very stressed. Which led me to open up about my past covid experience that came along with suicidal thoughts during my Covid experience. The nurse was able to help me calm down so she can get a proper reading of my heart rate. Very professional and knew how to deal with me with my past suicidal thought experience. They saw through me and were able to navigate carefully around my stressful state of mind at that time. I am very grateful for the professional

Super impressed with Ashley Jensen and the all staff. Wait time was nonexistent. Took me more time to fill out my new guy paperwork. Jensen listened to all of my concerns and gave great feedback and insight on what to do next. Super helpful and put my very worried mind at ease. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoy the service I get from Dr. Mauric and Exodus for the most part. I would love to give them 5 stars because when I'm there I'm treated very well. The only issue I've had is when I've had an issue with a prescription and have had to call or send a message through the patient portal, I've had to do so repeatedly for up to 2 weeks sometimes before the issue is handled. This has happened to me each month for the past 3 months. It's an issue that starts with my pharmacy, not Exodus. But the time it takes to get the issue handled has caused me to go without important medications for extended

I moved back to the area a few years ago and had a great provider who understood my needs and I connected well with. Prior to coming to this clinic I had been on the same medications, same doses, and same doctors for over 15 years. Upon coming to this clinic, I had seen the same provider for over 2 years then she left early 2021.
Since then it’s been absolutely ridiculous trying to get my medication. Which I understand is a controlled substance but I’ve always followed my medication regiment exactly how I was supposed and I’ve never had an issue getting my prescription.

Dr. Spencer is by far one of the most down to earth and personable doctors. He listens. He helps come up with resolutions, and gives great advice. It's very difficult to find doctors who actually "see" you as a person, rather an issue. My family and I will continue coming to Dr Spencer for as long as he can take us.
