I really enjoyed my first visit today at Bay View Dental. Dr. Emerson is very experienced, knowledgeable and thorough. Jorge, Shinika, Bianca and Angelica were all so friendly and personable. I found parking very easily at this location and the place was so easy to navigate to.
They communicated with me (I know imagine that!) about the health of my teeth, home maintenance techniques, and future planning needs. They even showed me the imaging (x-rays) of my teeth and went over them with me. Love that!

First impressions are amazing. Great customer service from the ladies behind the counter. The Hygienist catered to my teeth and spoke to me about my hygiene and how to keep my teeth looking amazing. She listened to my concerns and also spoke with the Dentist ahead of time so he was prepared to have a detailed conversation with me. Both of them are amazing and loved their bed side manners. Thanks Yall, I will be coming back!

It's safe to say that as I get older going to the dentist is never my favorite activity. And so I have to give this group 5 stars for doing everything they can to make my visits as pleasant as possible. I had a crown put on today (again, not super fun) but overall I can't imagine anything more I'd want in terms of "bedside manner" and overall comfort level.
I have also, always appreciated Dr. Emerson's great way of not throwing the whole kitchen sink at me, but rather identifying what needs to happen now and what we can do in the future.

I have been using Dr. Emmerson's practice for a few years now and they are the most thorough, kind, and friendly people I've had the pleasure to work with. I recently chipped a tooth and called them asking for a next day fix, they found a way to make it work. So sad I'm leaving! Thank you for everything Dr. E!

My whole family loves Bay View Dental! My husband and I became patients when we moved back to San Diego because of recommendations from my parents and sister. We felt so welcome from the first visit! When our kids had to accompany us, the front office staff helped keep them entertained while the hygienists and Dr. Emerson took great care of us! Eventually, we moved the kids to the practice, too, and I couldn't be happier we did. The staff is so caring and even my kid who used to be the most reluctant to go to the dentist now looks forward to seeing everyone in the office. Thanks, team!

The first and last impression of the dentist office is made by those manning the front office. Such a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Previous employees were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and valued long standing relationships.

I really am so impressed with the quality of care given by Dr. Emerson and his terrific hygienists. I think it's also important to mention the warm and welcoming office staff. Everyone makes you feel they know you personally. I am a grateful patient as are my two children (12 and 9).
I would highly recommend Dr. Emerson to folks of all ages!

Dr. Emerson is as good as they come. I appreciate his skill, dedication, attention to detail (a perfectionist in the nicest way) and professionalism. Dr. Emerson cares. He does wonderful crowns and was even able to save an old cracked crown. He is friendly and kind with a gentle sense of humor. This is a COVID SAFE office. The cleanings by the dental technicians are great and thorough. I highly recommend this dental practice.

It was an absolute pleasure going to this dental office this morning- i don’t think I’ve ever said that about a dentist visit. Everyone was SO kind and friendly, cleaning was gentle & thorough, Dr. Emerson gave understandable explanations & explained the reasoning for his recommendations, and they clearly outlined pricing for recommended future procedures. 1. Front Office Staff is very prompt, consistant and cordial.
2. With all the Covid scare! This Office practices Safe and highly trained techniques. The Staff is mature and knows that conservative behavior is important away from the Office. They get tested often for preventative measure.
3. New Equipment. (Ranging from x-rays to cerec Crown placement)
The Office offers Finance options along side maxing out one's annual allowance.

I needed a new dentist in San Diego and I'm happy I chose Bay View Dental! Gloria at the front desk is so warm and friendly, and my hygienist, Rachel, was great. I haven't had any major procedures done, but would trust them with that too! I got replacement retainers that are nice (and they give you four pairs). Thanks Bay View!

If you're looking for a new dentist, you can stop searching. I am so glad that I found Bay View Dental. I recently visited for an annual cleaning, and it was a great experience! Shemeka was my dental hygienist, and she did a wonderful job. She was very kind, prescriptive, and gentle. I'm going to request to work with her every time I come in for a cleaning. Dr. Emerson was also fantastic to work with. He was very kind, described what he was doing and looking for, and prescriptive with next steps.

Doctor Emerson and his team are so friendly and welcoming. I have had many bad experiences with dentists that make me apprehensive. This has been the best dentist I have been to by far. Absolutely no pain for the shots, filling and crown, and they feel great afterwards. I highly recommend this practice.

Very nice open staff, great conversation, gentle and comfortable. Was able to get an appointment the next day, cleaning as well and a deeper look at some dental needs. The staff went above and beyond to get all my future appointments scheduled as well which was nice. I found my new permanent dentist.

Shemika is an amazingly gentle, informative and kind dental hygienist. Dr. Emerson and his entire team are wonderful.

I had to switch dentists last year after going to my last one for 20 years and started here from a referral from a co worker. I have been so impressed with the quality, care and affordability I receive from Dr. Emerson's office. My first experience was getting my front tooth fixed for the 5th time with the bonding that kept coming off from my prior dentist. He fixed it in 15 minutes and it looked like my natural tooth again rather than the the 2 shades it used to be and has not chipped off like the last one kept doing. His work is excellent.

At my most recent appointment I had Eric clean my teeth and he was so informative. He let me know everything that he was doing and everything that he noticed in my mouth to help me with my at home maintenance.
