We rescued a puppy who ran into some issues early on. The vet and staff at Lake Park have been incredibly helpful the entire time. They'll sit with you in the room and answer every single question you have and go above and beyond to get you what your pet needs.

We recently moved to the area and I was admittedly nervous about finding a quality vet for my beloved Golden Retriever, Barkley. As he gets older, I am increasingly vigilant about his care, which is why I did a lot of research before ultimately scheduling him for a check-up at Lake Park. And I'm so glad I did! From the first call, the staff was extremely professional and kind - their compassion is palpable. IDO NOT recommend this clinic.
I made an appointment on Friday.
On Monday morning I called the clinic to get information about my appointment. They said I could come and my appointment was available.
When I arrived at the clinic, they told me that they could not take my cat and that I had to wait two weeks to make a new appointment.
Are you serious????
No one called me back to tell me there was a mistake.
I had to take my sick cat to their clinic to hear SORRY!!!
They didn't care about my sick cat.
I will tell all my friends that it was not professional and they do not care about animal

I have been to countless vets in the Charlotte area, including one skin specialist for my cat. Dr. Rutledge is absolutely phenomenal in cost, in empathy, and in how thorough he is with his explanations and care. We just found my senior cat has hyperthyroidism and elevated kidney values. Dr. Rutledge spent 40 minutes on the phone with me just to explain what this means and what options we have. We are so grateful for the office staff and how incredibly kind and caring they are as well. They are 1/2 hr from me, so the drive isn’t the fastest... but that fails in comparison to what we receive going
