I was only with Fullwood Animal Hospital for a couple of months, but words cannot explain how kind, compassionate, and understanding their team is. Today I said goodbye to my sweet 13 year old after his health rapidly declined. Dr. Takane and her team were professional and made sure that he was as comfortable as possible in his last moments. I cannot recommend them enough. It was a beautiful moment. We were all outside, laughing and crying and telling stories as my sweet boy basked in the sunshine one last time, wrapped in blankets and surrounded by people that love him.

We had our 6 month old golden retriever groomed for the first time. I’m so glad we chose Fullwood! He was so happy to go inside and was clearly well taken care of while he was there. Fear free services are so important and I’m so glad this is a service so close to us!

My young cat is so anxious at vet and I had many concerns. My first visit was amazing. The staff and Dr. were all very compassionate and understanding. I felt that we were in good hands. It was very clear from the first few minutes how much they all care about the well-being of my pet and even the pet owner. Highly recommend.

Best experience I've had taking a pet to the vet! We were seen immediately after arriving for our appointment, they took wonderful care of my dog and I felt respected and cared for as the owner too. Our first visit to Fullwood was the first time I've had a dog play at the vets office! Thankful for Dr. Sanders and all the staff!

I just recently started going to this vet and absolutely love them! The fear free certification makes a huge difference in their level of care and compassion. They are also extremely up front and honest about pricing and work with you to get your pet the best treatment, for the lowest price possible.

Called to get appointment for our new puppy .Concerned she may have UTI. I went to pick up a kit to catch urine and was having trouble doing it. They offered to do it in their front yard. And did it. So thankful. !! They were very helpful for not having an appointment that day. Very encouraging so happy for Bitsy to be a patient there.

My dog had an urgent issue and this practice was very understanding, squeezed us in during a very full schedule day, kept in constant contact with me regarding her situation. Their compassionate treatment and excellent communication skills served both me and my dog well. She's recovering nicely and there were no surprises in cost. Total thumbs up!

Fullwood is awesome! Everyone there is so nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with rabbits because Dr. Montgerard is great and has a ton of experience with them. The prices are extremely reasonable too - when I got my rabbit neutered there weren't any extra charges for anesthesia or pain medication. This is all around a great animal hospital. Their power went out on the day of my appointment and they still let me come in to have my pet looked at. Everyone there seems to truly love animals and want the best for their patients. My rabbit and I will definitely be coming back :

I absolutely adore the Vet practice but the Boarding failed me. I absolutely love the veterinary side of the practice because of the staff, the cleanliness, the communication, etc. However somehow it fell short when I came to board my puppies. I dropped them off on Saturday for boarding and was not told that I will not be able to call to check on them over the weekend as this is their first time staying in a facility like this. I spoke with the manager over the boarding side and to hear a lot of excuses and no apologies. So if you're looking for a boarding place, this is not the place. If

Based on prior reviews I thought Fullwood would be our new permanent home for our two dogs but not all reviews will be glamorized.
Fullwood has the kind presence from the desk receptionist and definitely the vet tech assistant but the Dr . Absolutely was hands off on our pregnant girl Foxy. It was our first visit and she didn't touch Foxy, pet her, examine her in any way possible or sell me that she even cared that we knew nothing about dog pregnancy. She walked in and didn't shake our hands , or show any affection towards our sweet girl.
She wasn't rude or mean, but she wasn

I generally utilize another veterinarian for boarding however they were booked for the 4th of July holiday weekend. I am local to Matthews/Mint Hill and have seen Fullwood in passing. I decided to give them a call and they had availability. I brought Max a day before for a trial run and physical and was quite impressed by the outstanding service and warm welcome we received. He is a timid dog and they made him very comfortable. I picked him up today and saw he warmed up to them quite a bit!!! I am so impressed we may actually switch veterinarians!! I will definitely utilize them in the future!

I got my kitten Crouton when he was super tiny (rescued off the side of the road when he was roughly 3/4 weeks) (yes his name is really Crouton) I took him to Fullwood for the first time with an upset stomach around the time I got him and have taken him almost once a month for shots. And I LOVE them!!! They are so kind and everyone knows who he is as soon as we come through the door. And they let us take home a toy that he got attached to one visit. They offer calming towels for cats in the mud room to wrap around the crate. I have always immediately gotten a room and have never had to wait. Prices

I'm writing this review while still sitting in their parking lot because I feel they deserve the most accurate review possible. Assessment= Amazing!
Me and Max (our German Shepard) saw Dr. Christy Montgerard. He has been terrified of vets offices since an unfortunate attack in the lobby of another office in town. He was much calmer and more comfortable here. He never trembled and was cooperative.
The front desk started the wonderful experience by being kind and giving treats. The tech was kind and knowledgeable. But Dt Montgerard was the shining star. She took her time. She was patient

I started using Fullwood as my veterinary service provider last Fall. We see Dr. Montgerard typically and I'm always pleased with the level of care, knowledge, and interactions. The staff know me/my dogs (granted one has some chronic issues being managed, in addition to being accident-prone...) and are always understanding and compassionate.

I have a cat that had lost a tooth and I could tell that was in pain. The veterinarian who I usually go to has closed. I asked around about veterinarians and was referred to Fullwood animal hospital. I made an appointment and took him to Fullwood animal hospital. The staff is very friendly and know what they are doing. They treated my 10-year-old cat with love. The veterinarian doctor did a check up on my cat and told me to come back for a teeth cleaning. They said he had a lot of tartar and if any problems with the roots of his teeth they will be able to take care of it if needed. They were

This is my second visit to this establishment and I don't think I will be back. We just moved here from Wilmington and our vet there was so amazing that I knew finding one comparable to there would be a tough act. I just feel this vets offices lacks a personal touch and connection. Finding a great vet is hard and I tried them again just to make sure, but I just didn't feel they had the love for their jobs or the patients that I have seen in many other vets offices. I would just feel more comfortable if my sweet fur babies were in the hands of someone I had more of a connection with
