A professional home inspection will substantially reduce the risk for your large investment in a new home. The results of this inspection are used by insurance carriers in deciding whether or not to insure your home. Whether you are selling a home or buying a new or pre-owned home, a home inspection is the best advantage you have in today's residential housing market!

Identify any problems with your home before listing to save money and create less stress at closing. Less chance of a sale falling through, since many a buyer gets cold feet when a problem is discovered - even though repaired, they wonder "What else is wrong with the home?". Reduce your risk of buying a home with hidden, major repair problems that is a "money pit".
Services
We like our clients to be present during the inspection, which allows us to point out defects (as well as the good points) of a home and allows you to ask questions on the spot and us to answer in detail. For buyers, we point out items that will require routine maintenance to keep the home in top condition; and we follow up with a written report, covering everything we discovered and discussed during the inspection.
The most requested service we offer is the basic overall home inspection, where we evaluate the condition of the home's major systems and structural integrity. We analyze how well these systems are working, identifying areas that need to be watched, repaired or replaced. You will receive a big picture analysis from a visual inspection of all accessible systems and structures.
After Hurricane Andrew, insurance companies selling in Florida and the Citizens Property Insurance Corporation1 have encouraged (and to a degree required) homeowners to make their homes safer and to reduce claims. The four point home inspection came into being to ensure the integrity of a home's elements that have a tendency for high insurance claims.
It seems that we hear a lot about environmental concerns these days. Much of it is simply the result of a greater awareness than in the past. And even though there isnt anything to be concerned with in most homes, there are still a number of potential home environmental issues that buyers should be aware of.
The first thing to understand about mold is that there is a little mold everywhere - indoors and outdoors. It's in the air and can be found on plants, foods, dry leaves, and other organic materials. It's very common to find molds in homes and buildings. After all, molds grow naturally indoors. And mold spores enter the home through doorways, windows, and heating and air conditioning systems.

Any business that operates this way deserves all the business they want. I called and they answered my questions. Their price was lower than some other inspectors I researched, so I asked when they could come out - less than 24 hours later, Walter arrived on time (wearing a mask), and did what he needed to do. He was pleasant and courteous, provided the report the next morning and texted me to make sure I got it. Fantastic experience.

Great inspectors. Always on time, reports are turned around same day or next morning and thorough. They take their time with my clients to answer any and all questions.

I have used S Florida Home Inspection Associates for several years. They are very detailed in their reports. Walter Jackson and Sydney Smidt are the inspectors and they are extremely knowledgeable. The reports are provided electronically the same day, usually within a couple of hours of the inspection. They respond to questions right away. What I like most, they will provide the items that need repair or replacement, but they don't make a small item into something huge. Correspondingly, if there is a large item that needs repair or replacement, they don't minimize it either. I have had excellent
