They converted this elegant custom-built house into an animal hospital, where cats are allowed to hop up on the kitchen counters - dogs too. The high school sweethearts graduated from Bloomingdale High School in the early 1990s and moved to Gainesville, where they both attended the University of Florida.
Bell Shoals Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital. What does that mean? It means that Bell Shoals Animal Hospital is prepared to diagnose, treat, and hospitalize those patients who are very sick or severely injured and provide the best medical and surgical care available today. Bell Shoals Animal Hospital provides routine vaccinations in accordance with the latest vaccination recommendations of the veterinary profession.
John Ligori DVM, will receive patients Monday through Saturday; however, the animal hospital in Brandon is closed on Sundays. On weekdays, the office opens to receive clients and patients at 8:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM. On Saturdays, Bells Shoals Animal Hospital opens for business at 8:00 AM but closes on Saturday at 12:00 PM.

We have had several dogs over the years and been to 4-5 animal hospitals in different locations.
This is easily the best, most caring, most loving staff we've ever had the pleasure of having our dogs with.
Dr Ligori always shows compassionate and is thorough in his handling of your pet and also constantly thinking of your feelings and how you react to different situations including some extreme ones like cancers in your furry loved one.
His staff always treats your pet like one of their own.
My daughter is crazy in love with her dog and would not consider taking Bailey anywhere but Dr Ligori

My pets love visiting Bell Shoals Animal Hospital. The location itself is so homey, comfortable, clean & welcoming. The office staff is so wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. We love, love, love Dr.Ligori and all the staff!!! My Rosie is a frequent flier due to her allergies, as you can see in the picture. Dr.Ligori works with her examining Rosie wherever she decides to sit, whether… it’s on my lap (all 90lbs of her) or on the floor he does what it takes to check her out and make a diagnosis. The whole office staff is super friendly and professional. I’m so glad we chose Bell Shoals Animal Hospital. 🐶
