Andrew Brown is a DJ, record store owner, and native central Texan with over 15 years of experience.
Bring your personality into your event and make it one-of-a-kind with a custom fabricated piece of interest. Imagine a beautiful, illuminated tunnel for you and your beloved to walk through as your guests stand in awe. Or picture a wall of beer taps ready to fill your guests' glasses with your favorite local brews.
All our booths include EVERYTHING you'll need including an attendant, unlimited prints, and plenty of fun! Your rental is for the entire reception, we do not tear-down the photo booth until the end of the night or make you commit to an hourly rate. The one and only! As your guests approach the magic mirror, they'll be welcomed by on-screen graphics and have their pictures taken by the camera behind the glass.

From the beginning of the process, Altared Weddings was helpful and well organized. They reached out to ya repeatedly to confirm what we wanted. The string quartet played beautifully, the Amber uplighting and sound system were great. DJ David was a perfect fit for our event and kept everyone enjoying the dance floor. Kudos to Altared Weddings for a wedding well done!

We had Andrew of Altared Weddings DJ our wedding, and he did an AMAZING job. Our venue (Memory Lane) paired us with Andrew, and after we filled out a form with some information about our song tastes and choices, we put all our trust in Andrew. He was very communicative with us before the wedding, and as for the day itself...well, the day was perfect, and everyone had A BLAST dancing. He absolutely nailed our music tastes, just by simply reading the info we had to send leading up to the day. I was so happy! Absolutely loved working with this company. Word of advice: just trust them. They know what they're doing. Halfway through our 1.5 year engagement, our assigned technician left and we got a new technician. This transition was extremely smooth, the new technician proved herself to be extremely knowledgable and trustworthy. They were extremely professional and created a world of lights that was beyond my imagination! Everything glowed in the most beautiful way. For budget reasons, we ordered some lights online. DJ Davey (AKA Richard Gear) was originally recommended to me by one of my long time friends, who is also married to a professional DJ. Unfortunately he was booked at the time so we were still on the hunt.
Fortunately for me, (perhaps unfortunately for someone else), there was a cancellation and Ryan emailed me and let me know they were available. It worked out great for us as we were still looking. I had a lot of very questionable replies to my craigslist ad or the good DJ's were already booked. It was a crap shoot.
I wanted a good DJ and someone who knows good

Ryan was extremely professional and easy to work with. We used them for the lighting for my wedding. I did not know much about lighting and Ryan educated me about the different types of lighting. He answered all my questions and was not pushy at all. He worked with my budget. Overall I was very satisfied and would highly recommend.

A++ from start to finish!!! David Schacherl was our DJ for my daughter's wedding reception July 23rd and he did an AMAZING job!!! He definitely keep the guests on their feet the entire night!!! Altered wedding was super easy to work with, they were professional and stayed in touch with us to ensure they had all of the necessary information. The process from start to finish with Altared Weddings was such a breeze! They are very professional and hardworking! Our initial contact was with Jasmin and she provided a lot of information on the front end for us so there was very little back and forth question/answers which was so helpful! Their is also a client portal where you can modify your questionnaire at any time. They have a lot of services to offer but we only elected the DJ services for the ceremony and reception. My best friend (also a recent bride) recommended Altared Weddings to me and I am so glad she did. We worked with Ryan for booking and Jason was our DJ. Both were great and easy to work with. I met Jason in person and he quickly picked up on the type of party my fiancé and I were wanting to throw. I got married in October, and we used Altared Weddings for our lighting (at the Zilker Clubhouse).
We had no complaints whatsoever. The company was very easy to work with. Great price - lower than several of the bigger places in town. Professional during booking and in person. Good attitude on the day of. Our lighting was done as promised.

I am completely disappointed. I've heard such wonderful things about Altared Weddings and Christian. Seriously, I had no worries about music on my big day after having a phone consultation with Christian. He assured me that we'd keep the party going and the only 2 requests I had was that 1) please not a lot of country music and 2) keep everyone dancing. Let me tell you, both of my requests, which I paid a lot of money for, were not met. Alongside of that, he didn't announce big events (cake cutting, our exit, s'mores bar....). My husband and I have worked with Ryan on several business projects, and we absolutely love his videography work. But when our wedding day came, and the photographer (who was a member of the family) didn't show up, Ryan came through. He cleared his personal schedule to help us out, then he handled everything like a champ. He took pictures the whole day, traveled with us to multiple locations, and even seemed to be helping act as wedding planner during our reception so I could relax and enjoy the time with friends. Christian was our DJ for Altared Weddings. I submitted an online request, was contacted by owner Ryan, settled on a price and picked DJ Christian. Christian set up speakers for our outdoor wedding and played the ceremonial music. Then he set up speakers in the reception area for dancing. All the mikes worked well for the toasts and announcements. Christian played some of the songs we requested on the questionnaire and mixed in some songs he thought would also go well for the dinner. Ryan recommended Jeremy as our wedding DJ and I could not be happier with his performance. He went above and beyond for our wedding!
He played all the songs we asked for and knew how to get young and old up on the dance floor. I broke his heart when I told him "no country" but he reluctantly listened and didn't sneak any country songs in. Haha he's a great guy, thanks Jeremy!
He did an amazing job with the uplighting too. Jeremy can do some awesome tricks with the uplighting...timing it to songs and changing the color on cues. It made it magical. Trust me, you want the uplighting

I went with Altared Weddings because I have always been obsessed with the musical aspect of my wedding the same way that other girls are obsessed with the flowers or their dress. They charge above the industry average but we cut corners elsewhere so that I could have one of the highest rated DJ's in this area because I wanted the music to be perfect. This review solely has to do with the owner of Altared Weddings, Ryan. I was searching for a wedding DJ and my planner recommended Altared Weddings. I contacted Ryan and he recommended one of his DJs and gave me his contact info. Unfortunately, the DJ's phone was broken and I was unable to speak with him. He said he was going to try and get a new phone and he would get in contact with me when that happened. We interviewed with one of Altared's DJs for our wedding, and were really impressed. He was friendly, and seemed to have the qualities we were looking for.
Everything except professionalism. Before we had a chance to book him, he called saying he had been booked for that date through the website and "there was nothing he could do". Considering we were supposed to have right of first refusal, we were obviously upset. I hope the rest of the DJs are more professional; unfortunately, all I can go off of is my personal experience.

I was more than delighted with Altared Wedding Productions' DJ services. We were fortunate to have Tommy as our wedding reception DJ. Tommy was both talented and professional. From our first sit down interview, throughout our email correspondence, to the wedding itself, our expectations were exceeded. Tommy was concerned with two main things; customizing the music to reflect who we are and making sure the crowd was having a good time. He accomplished both of those objectives flawlessly
