I am Serena Shaw, L.Ac. MSOM. I am the licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist here at Nourishing Energy Acupuncture. I received my master's degree in Chinese medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am also a diplomate of Acupuncture and herbology by the NCCAOM (National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine), and certified in clean needle technique.

Serena is an expert in massage therapy and accupuncture, two skill sets that make her an extremely knowledgeable and effective therapist. She considers not only how your body is feeling but what you’re feeding it and your overall energy. I’ve been going to Serena for years for my mucked up back neck and shoulders and highly recommend her.

Serena is wonderful. She has such a calm presence and is so kind and personable. I see her for acupuncture and massages and she is wonderful at both. I had never done acupuncture before seeing Serena, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I started seeing her when I was pregnant and having aches, pains, sleep issues, and GI issues, and her services helped with all of these issues. My baby was breech, and I talked to Serena about it and she tried acupuncture that was intended to help the baby turn, and he flipped to the head down position the very next day (confirmed by ultrasound)! For over a year Serena Shaw has been my go to person for Acupuncture. She is pleasant, affable, and most important both skilled and knowledgeable. And her treatments are effective.
