Beata has practiced since 2006. Her background includes internships at Mount Sinai Beth Israel; The Initiative for Women with Disabilities Program, St. Vincent Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York City, NY. She earned her degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, a leader in patient-centered, traditional East Asian, and integrative healthcare.
Nicole's path to Chinese medicine began when she was seeking Acupuncture to help manage her anxiety and insomnia naturally. The treatments felt harmonious, with her feeling calm and rested. She was so impressed by this experience that it compelled her to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine.
In addition to earning her Master's of Science from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego in Acupuncture and herbal medicine, she also completed the Asian bodywork program.When I had my daughter, I had a very difficult pregnancy. I delivered her early, which was very hard emotionally and physically.

Very unprofessional customer service when it comes to being flexible about appointments. There were several occasions where I needed to cancel, due to unforeseen circumstances, and was lead to believe it was impossible to reschedule my appointment leading to a charge for a service I never received. So very unprofessional!

I love going to Six Fishes! I’ve worked with 3 practitioners and everyone is kind and listens to what’s going on. Cara is more than an acupuncturist and herbalist. She is extremely professional, experienced and has a well-rounded approach to health. She is super knowledgeable about Eastern as well as Western medicine, and can work with you on a custom treatment plan that takes into account your doctor's recommendations. I trust Cara to inform me as best she can, and to direct me to any other practitioners or modalities that may be able to help. I have known Cara for almost ten years, and she is the first person I call when I have a health concern!
