Just got married and was looking for a place for dinner, came across Rothschild's and I am so HAPPY we did. We didn't have a reservation but was seated in minutes. Inside, the atmosphere was intimate yet festive. Paul our sever was AMAZING! He noticed we were celebrating an occasion and was super attentive and just an awesome guy. The food was Terrific... meatballs for appetizers along with the garlic bread OMG!!! My sons had pasta and couldn't stop saying how good it was ("better then Olive Garden" to be exact). The grilled salmon special was delicious. The house pinot noir was perfect; and dessert

Even though it’s on what arguably is one of Orange County‘s busiest intersections, this restaurant retains a real local, neighborhood feel. The nice new patio out front right on PCH is a great addition. There are nights when the front bar area gets packed with those neighborhood folks catching up. Overall, I don’t believe the restaurant's design has been updated in many years and the food is just as you expect from that kind of an old school Italian restaurant. Stick with the classics and you can’t go wrong. Caesar salad, pasta, fresh fish and their crazy ice cream dessert is what people

Excellent home made pasta from scratch. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli. Just be aware that it comes with a smoky paprika, which I recommend you ask for just a pinch of, because the smoke can be overpowering. The cannelloni is also very good. The Linguini Maremonte is average. The chicken entree is not that great. The side of wild mushrooms is great. The meatball appetizer is good. The garlic bread is the best I've ever had!

Excellent happy hour menus, really good ahi tuna, truffel fries could be slightly more crisp, great Cesar salad and filet bites. Some great Italian beer for happy hour price 3 too. All happy hour menu is f et om 5 to 8. Will come back here for happy hour. romantic, old fashion and high end. loved the attention of the friendly service too. overall perfect happy hour.
