Phil Trani's is not just a great place to eat delicious food, it's like an all inclusive social club, where on any given day you might have the opportunity to rub elbows with sports superstars of the past, present, and future. Open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner seven days a week. Diners may also enjoy listening and dancing to the sounds of outstanding musicians throughout the weekend.
Our menu includes tasty appetizers and a variety of salads, and all of our salad dressings are made fresh. Phil Trani's delicious main dishes include Shrimp Creole, Tourenados of Beef, Marinated Flat Iron Steak, and many other favorites. Our specials are changed daily, and the wine list updated regularly.

What a gem of a place. I came here and dined in their bar area, it was a quaint ambiance. Phil walked around and asked people how their dining experience was, and asking for feedback. The chairs were on wheels, so it was almost like an airport lounge - felt like I was enjoying a cocktail before boarding a flight! I had the chicken Marsala, it was a heaping portion, so I took the rest of it home to eat later. The bread was fluffy and warm, and it was great to dip in the clam juice! Our server was attentive and hospitable. We also enjoyed calamari, and shrimp cocktail! The menu is short and simple

Went last week, attracted by the appearance of musician Tom Bellizia (well known top performer of the closed upscale Admiral Risty in Palos Verdes).Trani's is an appropriate venue for his talent. His followers packed the place...and look forward to bring others!; Very lively and exciting dancing! ( some regulars said it was "dead" the week before, but they enjoyed the excitement Tom brought)
Additional benefit: very delicious food, in large servings. Complements to the excellent chef!!!
I highly recommend the food ...especially filet mignon which was truly kicked to order...and the loaded mashed

Newly Remodeled inside and it's beautiful!!! No more carpet, it's now hard wood floors... New bar-top of white marble...bar is much brighter, you can now see from one end to the other...all the sports memorabilia is still on the walls...

I can't believe I have lived in Long Beach all of my life and have not dined here.
My 7 hour Pot roast + spaghetti + steamed broccoli was delish. Bone-in ribeye was cooked to order which is hard to get nowadays. Prosecco was delicious.
All wait staff was attentive. Live music was icing.

Had lunch for the first time at this spot. I had cobb salad and my friend had steak salad. They were both good. Servers were all pleasant and provided prompt service. We took advantage of the outdoor seating. It was a nice setup in a courtyard with a large sun umbrella. If you are in the area, I'd recommend to dine here.

This was my first time here, my family brought my mother and I here for dinner. It really was a treat. The wine was great, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Although dining is as traditional as it normally is, they made the most of it. I had the Ahi Tuna Steak and my mom had the Ribeye. I was most excited to learn that they have homemade pasta. That was definitely something I had to try and I'm so glad that I did. It was so yummy!

I had one of the worst meals of my life here. Now, granted it was early Christmas Eve and the main chef probably wasn't on duty, but this was so bad that I took one or two bites of my grilled Swordfish and couldn't eat any more, it was so nauseating. It was fibrous and very fishy smelling. Swordfish is easy to grill so I have to blame the quality of the fish. Dreadful.

It has been too long since we last visited Trani's.
Today we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch.
My wife had a nice Old Fashion, while I enjoyed a well made Hendricks martini.
We opened with a house salad with a very nice blue cheese dressing.
We each ordered from their daily specials. My wife had the lamb chops and I ordered the scallops.
The lamb chops were served with a light mustard sauce and separate mint sauce. Both sauces were excellent. My wife opted for the pasta as a side dish.
I ordered the scallops, which were wrapped in bacon. They were prepared perfectly! I opted for the rice

I truly miss coming here for my work seminars. Awesome to see Mr. Trani when I come here Shout our to Paula who always takes care of our party and knows exactly how we have things set up. The food is amazing. I have had so many dishes on the menu. Thank you for all that you have done to make our party comfortable and taken care of. The creme brûlée cheesecake is also a must. It's so yummy. You want to eat it all in one sitting, but then you also want to take a slice to go because it's that delish.

Resturant has its own parking on the side and back of the resturant.we habe never had a problem finding parking.
Resturant you are promptly greeted at the door by the host there is a pretty cool bar on the inside which seems to get just as crowded as the resturant. We were immediately seated and drink orders were taken . I ordered a glass of wine. I had very low standards for this place after reading all the bad reviews. My family frequents the J trani's in San Pedro, so we wanted to give this a try.

We got split up into two tables, and the other half of our family finished their meal and dessert before we even received our meals.
