I am the founding attorney at DiNenna & Associates. I established this office in 2004 and have practiced family law in Spokane County as well as the surrounding counties in Eastern Washington consistently since then. I obtained my juris doctorate from the Gonzaga University School of Law in 2003 and obtained my undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1995.
The following is intended to provide a very brief overview of some of the areas of family law. My focus is on the various areas listed here. Family law can be straight forward or very complex depending on the circumstances and the issues involved. Engaging an attorney to represent you (and your child/children) is a prudent decision.
A divorce, or dissolution, is essentially a financial separation from your spouse. The Court considers your community assets, (assets acquired during the marriage), separate assets, (assets acquired before and even after the marriage), as well as the length of your marriage and how you will be positioned financially after the marriage ends.
For purposes of a parenting plan, the Spokane County Superior Court, as well as all other county superior courts in Washington State, considers the factors identified in the Revised Code of Washington State in implementing a parenting plan, whether temporary or final. A temporary parenting plan is a parenting plan that is ordered at a temporary orders hearing pending final resolution of your family law matter.
A parenting plan modification, or change to your existing parenting plan, may result if an unforeseen change in circumstance has resulted since your final parenting plan was entered and such a change is in the best interests of your child or children. A parenting plan modification may be a major or minor modification, although there are differences between the two.

Great lawyer/team have had Paul as my lawyer for roughly 3 years or so. I had come to Paul with a family law case and he/team helped me get my son honestly couldn’t ask anything more than that, the team and him have been very patient and VERY helpful answering questions/concerns along the way also going over the top and taking extra steps to make sure I knew what was going on pertaining the case. Would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a good lawyer in the Spokane area, looking forward to keeping Paul around for a very long time!

Have known paul for a number of years. He is calm, polite and possesses highly developed listening skills. A divorce can be argued as one of the more stressful events in one's personal life. The participants, the attorneys are all in a pressure cooker to extract concessions, and play a difficult but vital role ....to manage through dissolution. Paul would be a trusted advisor in this capacity.

I never hesitate to recommend Krista to a friend or colleague looking for legal representation. When prosecutors see Krista on the other side of the table they know it will be a fight they cannot win. She listens to her clients, and works for the best possible outcome.

Paul appeared to have my back until he got what he wanted, my down payment! From there it went downhill…no response to my questions, basically paid him for doing nothing. He advocated for the other party. I would not hire this guy. He’s a snake!
