That was some of the worst mediation I’ve experienced. Of the 3 hours we were billed for, a good hour of it was wasted on her not knowing how to use zoom properly. It was also very clear that she was doing everything she could to run the clock up. I was billed for her to “review the parenting plan” beforehand, and based on our time spent in mediation it was clear she never actually did that. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for family mediation.

I had a great experience with Ellen and her team. I'm overseas so communication is difficult but they made time for me and kept me in the loop. Fast responses, fast work, ideal results. They used my time and money wisely. I had been trying to attain my goal for years and they accomplished it in months. Hopefully I don't need an attorney again but if I do, I'll be reaching out to Ellen.

I wanted to like my experience with Ellen. Unfortunately my $200 past due balance resulted in a letter stating she had "too much going on the day of my trial and I was too hard to get ahold of" (1 day reply time). I had been with Ellen for over a year for a messy divorce case that involved 3 children and a ex husband dependent on illegal drugs. Mind you I was actively making payments when I had the funds. To top it off she billed me for work she messed up on (did not correctly take notes) after I set time to communicate what the parenting plan would look like for a second time..(she lost my originals

Ellen and her office staff Rachel & Lauren are all wonderful. They stay on top of everything, keep their clients advised on what's going on whenever there are changes, and never miss important deadlines. Ellen works hard to make sure she and her clients are as ready as can be, working evenings and weekends if necessary. She is a tough woman, she sticks to the facts, knows how to see the big picture and get right to the point. Ellen has been a great attorney to me and my family in the case with my two girls. Ellen has been a worthy adversary over the years, always fighting very hard for her clients and their interests. Family law is challenging. Usually, people are the most emotional, and possibly even the most irrational, that they will be in their lifetimes. That is to be expected. Guiding people away from short-term passions to long-run interests is what family law attorneys should do. I have settled cases with Ms. Hendrick, short of trial, which should be the goal of every family law attorney -- protect the long-run interests of the client.
