Mopsie’s was so easy to work with for Wedding Day. Bobby was responsive throughout the days and weeks proceeding the big day. We chose his BBQ option as our meal for the evening and it was far and away some of the best BBQ I’ve had. If you’re in need of catering for a big event in and around the Austin area, Bobby and Mopsies is your go to.

My sister got married this weekend at the most beautiful ceremony in Austin. We are a huge meet and cheese family (of course) so we ordered a $1200 charcuterie platter from Catering By Mopsie. Needless to say my sister and I had to spend three hours completely recreating the platter as it simply had a bunch of meet and cheese stacked up without any aesthetic thought in mind. It would have been the exact same for us to spend $200 in product at the grocery store to decorate the board on our own as that’s exactly what we had to do. Just a giant disappointment and quite frankly a complete rip off

I would never recommend Mopsies to any couples planning their weddings!
During my final walk through, we met with Carson who promised time and time again that her team would be there to set up tables, put out favors etc... well that was far from the truth.
I arrived at the venue to find the only people there were two guys dropping off table cloths. We had decided on all cream for the dining tables and black for cocktail tables. They brought black for the dining tables and white for the cocktail tables. They said that they could not switch them out and after my day-of coordinator made them call

Mopsies just catered our daughter's wedding and the food was incredible. They had chosen chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and salad and everyone loved it! Everything was first class, including the customer service, the consultation, the staff and serving and the quality of the food. They helped to make our daughter's wedding extra special! Will definitely use for other events!

Unfortunately, we did not get the quality of service that correlates with the reviews. I choose this company because they had amazing reviews and we were nervous about the uniqueness of venue (which had no kitchen on site) and a limit of 9 catered to choose from. Needless to the say there was a lack of follow through with set up as requested various times over email. We was disappointed in their lack of flexibility with changes in timeline on the day of the wedding, which resulted in cold food being served and not having the complimentary butler as in contract for bride and groom. Mopsie really was an incredible caterer from start to finish. We went with the double entree Filet Minion and Chicken, both were delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the food and the service.
Amy was great to work with throughout the planning process. She was always quick to respond to questions and flexible in any requests that we had. I really can't think of a single criticism. We cannot recommend them enough!

Catering by Mopsie is incredible! Amy, the coordinator is detailed, thorough and so easy to correspond with! I worked an event them a few weeks ago and having nothing but incredible things to say about this incredible catering company! There food is perfection and they had such a helpful crew! I am so pleased with everything Catering by Mopsie has to offer and hope to work with them more in the future! Book them for your event today and you WILL BE BLOWN AWAY!!
