Tempe Christian School
Tempe Christian Preschool, formerly Tempe Christian School, has been ministering to Arizona school children in the Phoenix and East Valley areas since 1971! In 2005, we transitioned from a grade school to a year-round preschool and early learning center for infants through preK. We continue to have a strong ministry within Tempe Nazarene Church and strive to build a sense of community among our school families.

Our Mission: We provide a positive foundation for education in a faith-inspiring environment. Our Vision: Tempe Christian Preschool will be a place where children are made aware that they are the cherished creation of God and where God's love is demonstrated by others. Guiding Scripture: Jesus said, "Let all the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

I'm proud to be a wife, mother, and grandmother. I was born in California and have been in Arizona for thirty-six years. I have been married to my husband Van for forty-two years and we have five children and twelve grandchildren that I love and love to spoil a lot. My passion is to love on all the children and families at TCPS and TNC.
Our early learning center is open January-December, closing for one week at the end of July and two weeks at the end of December/beginning of January. For the purposes of yearly enrollment, our year begins in August. Our open registration and enrollment for new students occurs yearly in May with ongoing enrollment throughout the year as spaces are available.
To ensure the safety of all of our children during all routines and activities and to be alert and attentive at all times. We constantly make certain that the outside play area as well as the indoor space is safe and secure and that we provide a healthy environment. To provide age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity and use of the five senses.
Tempe Christian Preschool has invited three community programs (Soccer Shots, Twinkle Toes, and Future Kiddie) to use our campus to enhance the learning environment of our young children. Parents/guardians are required to register and pay any applicable fees to the program directly and address concerns or complaints with the program directors.
Submitting this for will allow you to request an additional day that is outside of your regular schedule. First Things First is Arizona's early childhood agency, committed to the healthy development and learning of young children from birth to age 5. Thrive To Five offers free classes and community resources to families with children ages 0 to 5 years old.

Tempe Christian Pre-school is an amazing daycare! As a first-time mom, it was extremely difficult to entrust my 4-month-old into another's care at the end of my maternity leave. But from the get-go, TCP made it such a seamless and comfortable experience! The staff is warm, friendly and incredibly invested in the well-being of the children. There is vibrant and engaging programming for all the kids, even for the infant department. We pick up our son up every day, and he is clearly happy and well taken care of. And his teachers are always ready and informed with details about his day, which makes

Hostile enviorment for single parents....They chose side of what parents they like more. Stay out of personal business and focus on what you are paid to do.

I honestly wish I could give this place 1,000 stars. Everyone is so kind and you can tell they love all of the kids. Pastor Debbie and her team are the best! I would definitely recommend this daycare. To all of you first time parents out there, we were sooooo nervous to give our son over to anyone. The teachers at this daycare made us feel so comfortable with leaving him there. They really do everything they can to make sure our son is happy and safe.

We have been attending Tempe Christian Preschool for 8 years now. All 3 of our boys have gone here since they were infants. We have always enjoyed the people that work here and make this such a great place for children and families. There are not many places that are blessed with such a great facility which includes a large playground, gym for the hot summers, spacious classrooms, beautiful courtyard and play areas for the kids. Among many of the events they do thru the year including a PAC parent action committee our favorites are the Christmas and Spring concerts. These are a great tradition

My daughter has been going here since she was 3 months old. Now she is two and I have to say I'm impressed with what she is learning. She knows all the letters in the alphabet, she is learning sign language, and can count to 10. Just about every day she is learning something new and sharing that with us. I think this is a great preschool. I've had a very good experience with the staff. They are all very friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

Tempe Christian school administration is the worst. They say one thing and go against it. Punish customers when they decide withdraw their children for lack of leadership. No responsibility for their actions. No appreciation for their families. They call themselves “Christian” but they are not! Wolves in sheeps clothing. After 2 years of attending and gradually going down hill, I would never recommend anyone to place their child here.Save your money and look into Lutheran schools as they are not God centered. My oldest went to a Lutheran and definitely can see the difference. Even tutoring

The school is absolutely amazing. I have 2 kids (2.5 ye old and baby who started at 9 weeks) we've been coming for about a year. The best part of the school is that the staff truly care about your kids. I have left my toddler screaming with the teacher and snuck back to look in the window. Ive observed them giving her a hug and inviting her on their lap for an activity.
My favorite part of the school layout are the different rooms. The kids go to chapel once a week with a music director. There is a giant gymnasium where they go when it's hot during the summer. There is also a courtyard for gardening

My son has been going there for about a year now and we just love it! The staff is very caring and welcoming. My son even calls his teacher his best friend and always talks about all his friends at preschool. I love how clean the classrooms are. Their playground is safe and very beautiful. I love all the activities they have throughout the year and my son is growing up loving his preschool.

My children have been going to TCPS since they were infants (now 3 and 1.5). In general, we have had a very positive experience. The people are friendly and my older child can verbalize that he likes going to school and he likes his teachers. In the 3's program, my son participates in Chapel, Music, P.E., Spanish, and Science. He also enjoys going to Soccer Shots in the afternoon. My only concern is that here (like most places) the children seem rushed to grow up. They are quickly limited to one nap and sleep on mats as toddlers. Sippy cups were not allowed in the 2's room (straw cups were) and

I absolutely love TCPS. My daughter has been going here since she was 3 months old and she absolutely loves it here (she's 2 now). The staff is caring and qualified. Everyday, my daughter is excited when we walk in and is always sad to leave. They are also one of the more reasonably priced daycare/preschools in the area. It's definitely worth stopping in and checking out. You'll love it.
