Calvary Christian Daycare & Preschool is a ministry of His Church - Calvary Tri City in Tempe, Arizona and offers open enrollment to children of all faiths. Calvary Christian is of course a Christian establishment, with all our valued staff being Christians. We use Bible stories and songs as an important part of our curriculum, as well as prayer before meals and snacks.
Additionally, holidays are observed from a Christian point of view. The philosophy of our preschool and daycare program is simple, provide quality care and treat each child as if they were our own. We pride ourselves in offering more than just "child care". We strive to provide a rich, nurturing environment for your child's spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth in a fun learning environment.

The fundamental difference between us and other child care is our philosophy. As Christians, we want to share the love of God with everyone. This love gives us the capacity to care for your children as we would our own. Yet, our faith is so much more! We want to share our love of God with the children, teaching them about Jesus and the Bible.

Iv had a great experience here, we've been at this school for nearly 3 years. I love all the staff and feel they do a great job. I'm not sure what the negative review from "Kate Spade" is about, but my DTR has been in the 2s room, and the two teachers who she has pointed out, are two of my favorite teachers. Its a childcare center, they have higher ratios at times, it works for some children, doesn't for others. But I have personally had a good experience here.

Our family has had a fantastic experience at Calvary Christian Preschool & Daycare. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well stocked to care for children from infancy through preschool age. It’s an affordable option in comparison to many other daycare facilities in the area, while still maintaining a high level of service. The staff show genuine care and love for our son, who has been at Calvary since he was 3 months old. They treat him as if he were part of their family, which puts us at ease while we’re at work.

Very poor experience unfortunately. Staff was very cold and unprofessional with the exception of Mrs. Laura. Biggest concern, there was an incident with teachers involving the police. Parents were notified via letter head a week after said incident which is unacceptable. On top of that, the information provided was erroneous and there were not one but two incidents (verified via police report obtained). When we decided to withdraw our child immediately, the owner refused to refund any portion of the deposit.

We love this place! Our daughter has been going here since she was 6 months old and every teacher that has been involved with her has been fantastic. They are very loving, gentle, and patient and they treat all the children with love and respect.
All that said, they are not perfect -- but when there have been issues (only one), it was addressed appropriately and measures were taken to ensure cross training and protocol changes to never let it happen again. This is the perfect response when small issues occur and I could not ask for more.
