The month of April is notable for many reasons-a break from a few months of chilly weather, Arbor Day, and taxes-but did you know that it is also Oral Cancer Awareness Month? According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, an estimated 51,550 new cases of oral and oropharyngeal cancers (cancer of the mouth and upper throat) were diagnosed in the US in 2018.
If you have been to the Orsatti Dental office on multiple occasions you know that we LOVE being in and doing things for our San Antonio community. As all of our lives become busier and busier, being involved in the community is a priority for us. As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, we love taking care of people.
Our goal at Orsatti Dental is to provide extraordinary dental care to patients who can appreciate the difference. Dr. Louis Orsatti, Dr. Matthew Orsatti, Dr. Ernest Valdez, Dr. Bianca Sanchez and Dr. Rebeka Andrade bring to the practice a very high level of compassion and care for each of our patients. We believe in a conservative dental approach and are dedicated as a team to treat patients with excellence, patient education and informing all our patients of any treatment and fees prior to treatment.
Dr. Louis Orsatti and his wife Debbie, founders of Orsatti Dental, know what it is like to make someone feel good about themselves. Their practice, which has expanded to include three dentists, continues to grow and prosper with new cosmetic dental technologies and techniques, which greatly improve the look of the teeth and smile.

The entire Orsatti family is amazing. They are generous and fantastic with their patients. Dr. Matt is a knowledgeable and friendly dentist. He’s great at explaining things, and I always feel like I know exactly what’s going on with my oral health. I’ve been going to them for over 10 years now, and have always been more than satisfied with their care. My teeth have drastically improved through the years. Most people don’t look forward to going to the dentist, but the Orsatti’s always make it a pleasant experience.

Very clean office. They use panorama imaging along with regular X-ray for cleanings. I had to take my 1 yr old and 3 yr old with me and from the front desk, to the Oral hygienist, to the dentist- all were so nice and understanding. Went above and beyond to help out with the girls. They were thorough and efficient. Very happy with our new dentist office with this routine visit.

I highly recommend Orsatti Dental. This has to be the best dental office. The staff is incredibly fun and very professional. All the professions from Dentist to the Orthodontist to the Dental Hygienist make you feel at ease. I was apprehensive to go to any dental office and all the staff has a no judgement type of attitude. All professions didn’t rush and listen to me and took the time to answer all my questions. They made me feel extremely welcomed. And they are very ethical with their treatment plans they will not say you need a treatment just for money. You can tell they love their jobs. If

This office is terrible. I was a new patient and went in for a cleaning. My cleaning was great but when I asked about teeth whitening they said I'd have to make another appointment and I should have mentioned that when I made my first appt. I had mentioned it and the person on the phone said tell your hygienist when you get to your first appointment. So great internal communication happening there. Made another appointment for teeth whitening and waited 20 minutes after my appt time and had to go up and ask what the deal was. Waited more. Took my impressions and I had to come back again, wait

I have been going to Dr. Orsatti since 2000. I have watched his practice and equipment stay current with the lates Technolgies in dentistry. I haves watched him develop new dentist, and he has always had the most professional and caring staff and dental team. The team makes you feel important. The best Dentist ever! I have my yearly cleaning done as well as my clear braces. Today was my last day with them! After 1 year and 4 months later I'm going to be in retainers for minor adjustments then on to the retainers.
Super amazing staff and super friendly! From the time you check in you are welcome to drinks and snacks. After your appointment the staff that check you out are great.
Never had a complaint or concern. If I did I mentioned it directly to the Dentist and was resolved immediately!

The fear of dentistry was exemplified with my experience at Orsatti Dental. The 1st appointment with Dr. Matt wasn't bad. The out come was that I needed to get a root canal and a crown. So I fixed an appointment for the procedure. However Dr. Matt couldn't do it and Dr. Sanchez started the root canal. She seemed unsure from the very start. Asking the nurse what the next step would be. She injured the right cheek while giving the anesthesia. When I started complaining that I was shivering and shaking she stopped and said I needed to go to another doctor, root canal specialist. The injury

Watch your billings here! I had to make them remove a $118 charge that had no explanation whatsoever and they couldn't explain it to me either. On top of that, instead of finding out why the insurance company underpaid them, they just charged me which they're not allowed to do. While i was recently reimbursed partially for my over payments for 2017, I'm still fighting with them to get the rest of 2017 as well as years past over payments made by me. We've been going to Orsatti Dental Group for almost 4 years. The office staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. You're always greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel like they've known you for years.
The Doctors and dental hygienist are fantastic! Every one is always so friendly and when having X-rays, cleaning, anything its always top notch and very gentle.
